Higashide: This is the main heroine Jeanne-san. Konoe-san’s version of her seems to have
a slightly bigger chest. It goes without saying in her armored form, but even in her casual
clothing, her side breasts are nice! It may be trivial, but I think she’s the best Servant who
rigorously wields a flag in the world. The sight of her is far too striking.

Konoe: Laeticia-san is ideally close to Jeanne-san as a possessed vessel, but her bust size
alone is just slightly bigger than Jeanne-san. When I saw the wonderful original design plans
for her, I really wanted to develop her character and make her flourish.

 Sieg/Siegfried ジーク／ジークフリート

Higashide: This the instant-Servant and homunculus, Sieg-kun. When I think about it,
everything started from him. This is bit of a digression, but when we were talking about wild ideas with
Nasu-san, I said, “His chest will glitter brightly, three full times!”, but when I was seriously
writing the story, I found it too stupid so I removed it.
Konoe: Sieg-kun in his transformed hero form will be in the highlight scene of the final fifth volume as
well! Please look forward to it! And each time Siegfried’s armor appears in an illustration, I receive no
mercy as my arm dies due to the miraculous number of lines I have to draw. Good heavens!

Astolfo アストルフォ

Ta l k a b o u t A s t o l f o
Higashide: This is Astolfo-chan, the Servant who stood out and ran around through all the
volumes under the excuse, “He’s prone to running off like a fool, since he’s a fool!”. I’ve seriously
ended up no longer knowing what his gender is while I’m writing… how scary. By the way, in
Astolfo’s case, I think that, rather than purposefully dressing as a girl, he simply likes cute things.
Konoe: It’s because his character has expanded and come this far after starting with the words
“flamboyant and androgynous-looking”. He’s become a wonderful character who follows his own path in
a refreshing way while ignoring the established framework.

Mordred モードレッド

Ta l k a b o u t M o r d r e d
Higashide: “Mo-san! It’s Mo-san!” And here we have Mo-san, who’s been participating a lot in “Koha-
Ace” as well. I was really torn over whether to make her a man or woman, but when I saw the draft of
her personal everyday clothes, I thought with certainty, “Ah, this is correct”. In addition, the truth is that
her helmet in her armored form doesn’t actually come off, but rather is part of the the armor itself.
Konoe: When I heard that idea about the helmet from Higashide, the proposal left me at my wits’ end.
(Laughs) Since she’s a character that’s part of the Saber series, I was really nervous about getting her
design right, but I finished drawing her with an unexpectedly satisfied feeling.

Higashide: If Siegfried was the start of everything, then Jack was the character who became
the beginning that lead to him. However… when I look at her again like this… She has a
wonderful appearance that is both erotic and perverted! Mother, beware!

Konoe: Her mother is also erotic after all… Very well, I’ll draw her even more.

Atalantē アタランテ

Ta l k a b o u t A t a l a n t ē
Higashide: This is Atalanta-san, who seems to have fallen to the dark side in the fourth volume.
But when I look at her like this, these drawings are quite clever… Whether it be the ears, tail or apple.
In the fifth volume, her long-awaited dark-side-version will appear!
Konoe: Even though her outward appearance is full of clever symbols, she absolutely can’t add “Nyah”
to the end of her sentences due to her dignified personality. It makes me numb with excitement. I want
to trouble her by pulling her tail. It’s probably her weak point. Falling into the darkness is what’s best
about Fate, after all. Look forward to it.

Semiramis セミラミス

Higashide: This is Semiramis, the type of wife who devotes herself to her husband as a spouse,
but because her husband didn’t pay attention to the meals she made for him every day, he ends up
dying before her. She’s also the type to turn defiant and dominate her husband when her true
nature is exposed. I want to plunge my hand into her cleavage. Though I would die as a result.
Konoe: As the story unfolds, she shows various expressions, which I’ve truly enjoyed drawing. I want
to tell her that she’s cute. Though I would die as a result.

Shirou Kotomine シロウ・コトミネ

Higashide: The greatest problem child in Apocrypha, Shirou Kotomine. Even though he looks like this,
he’s over seventy years old, but in the first place, he hasn’t emotionally matured regardless of how
much knowledge and experience he has gained, so he’s an eternal seventeen-year-old. He’ll appear in
a special form in the fifth volume, so please look forward to it!
Konoe: I had to wrack my brain over how to properly balance him in terms of design in various ways,
but I feel that I’ve mostly succeeded well with the design I ended up with. So, just what is the Kotomine-
san’s family home life like in this universe? I’m really interested in that!

Fiore Forvedge Yggdmillennia / Caules Forvedge Yggdmillennia フィオレ／カウレス

Higashide: These are the Forvedge siblings, who can be called the linchpins of the Masters.
The older sister is a genius, but is indecisive at critical moments, while the younger brother is
mediocre, but is always decisive when it counts. I wrote them with that kind of image in mind.
Konoe: I’m fundamentally in the “older brother/younger sister” faction, but I acknowledge that
this older sister and younger brother pair are also nice after coming this far. I went through a lot
of hard work to draw the clothing of not only these two, but the clothes of the entire Yggdmillenia
camp with designs that possessed both a sense of unity but also individuality.

Higashide: Here’s a comparative chart, even though it wasn’t requested, you know? Look,
you become disillusioned in an instant when their sizes change when drawing them, right?
No, I’m talking about their height, you know? Tom-san also said that it’s not good to judge a
woman by their breast size. So, which one do you like? Miss Atalanta here doesn’t seem to
understand the meaning of this line-up, so she went off to ask Jeanne about it.
Konoe: (Looks at the person standing at the very end of the line-up) Why are YOU there?

Konoe: This is the design of Kamikaze Magical Girl Jeanne, part of Type Moon’s April Fool’s project,
woof. I honestly thought it was too much, but the other parts of the April Fool’s project were like that
too, so it’s all right. I remember being shocked, thinking “With the filename Kamikaze Magical Girl, how
are people going to find this when it has a logo that was just finished the day it was
released!?” (Laughs) I wonder if people will request that she appears in Prisma Illya...
