GRADUATION CEREMONY 2017

Cherry and Willma: Good morning ladies and gentlemen!/ Welcome to the ___ Commencement Exercises/ of Sto.
Domingo Elementary School.

Cherry : Today,/ another history slowly unfolds/ as we come to an end of the school year 2016-2017/. It’s been 10
months already/ since we have witness how these little lads and lasses proved their worth/ to become a member of
this year’s graduating class.

Willma: That’s right ma’am!/ Also,/ the month of April/ is one of the most awaited month/ on the part of the pupils
as well, /of course with the very hardworking parents,/ who, for the first time/ will ever see their son or daughter /be
one of those who will march today /and will harvest their fruit of labour/ after six years of hardships and struggles.

Cherry: Let us now witness the entrance of colours / followed by the bearers of diplomas/, medals and certificates/,
our schools district supervisor,/ our principal,/ our barangay chairman, PTA President and officers/, teachers/,
guests,/ and the candidates for graduation/ together with their proud parents/. Ladies and gentlemen, the
processional…

Adlib: Entrance of colours. Marching toward the stage are the bearers of diplomas/. Next in line are the bearers of
medals and certificates. / Behind them are the candidates for graduation/ together with their proud parents. Close to
their heels/ are the equally competitive teachers who are moulding the young minds of our graduates. Marching
towards the stage is/ our diligent school principal/ with our industrious barangay chairman/ and supportive PTA
President.

PROCESSIONAL………………………………………………………

Willma: Let us remain standing/ as we pay tribute to our national flag/ through the singing of the National Anthem
/followed by the singing of Himno ning Kapampangan/ to be conducted by Mrs. Achelle G. Balatbat/ Grade Six
adviser.

NATIONAL ANTHEM & HIMNO NING KAPAMPANGAN……………………

Cherry: Let us remain standing as we profess our faith/, honour and glory to God Almighty/ as
_________________________ / with ____ honor/ to lead us with our opening prayer.

Cherry: Please be seated.

Willma: Graduation is not actually the end/ but the beginning of your new journey/ as you open new doors to
success/. With this year’s theme “Sabay-sabay na Hakbang Tungo sa Kinabukasan”,/ as one big family/, let us make a
difference in each other lives./ Together let us reach the highest stars!

Cherry : I agree maam/. At this point,/ may I call on ______________________________ ,/(with honors) for __
welcome address. Let’s give ___ a round of applause.

Willma: Thank you ________________________________ for that very inspiring and motivating message. We were
really moved by your experiences and story.

Cherry: And now/, the main highlight of today’s affair/ is about to unfold in our midst/. To do the honor/ of
presenting this year’s candidate for graduation/, may we have on the stage the school principal of exemplary
performance, Madam Teresa S Gutierrez/ to be accepted and confirmed/ by our ever dynamic and diligent Public
Schools District Supervisor, Mr. Renato B Canilao. Let’s give them a big hand.

(Confirmation OF Graduates and message from SDS )

Willma: Thank you sir!/ Let us now proceed/ to the significant moments,/ the distribution of certificates/. A
certificate of graduation/ is the tangible evidence/ of being a graduate in a certain level of education/. This is the fruit
of each pupil’s endeavour/.
Cherry: And so, to do the honor/ of the distribution of certificates of graduation/ to our young graduates,/ may we
have on stage once more/ our school principal Madam Teresa S. Gutierrez and ____________________________.
Likewise, may we call on also, /Mrs. Glenda __ Hernandez,/ grade Six- A adviser./ and Mrs. Archelle A. Balatbat/
grade Six –B adviser./

DISTRIBUTION OF DIPLOMAS……………………………

Willma: Congratulations dear graduates!/ And now, /it is indeed a privilege to introduce to all of you/, a girl who
really excels/ in all the subject areas/ as well as extra-curricular activities./ She is a girl with a big dream/ that is why
it is not impossible/ why she topped this batch of graduates./ Friends, without further ado, /let us put our hands
together/, for the graduate with High Honors for this year’s batch 2016-2017,___________________________!

Cherry: Thank you ______/ for sharing with us/ your words of triumph and victory./ I’m sure/ you were able to
inspire/ everyone/ here in this ceremony/. You were indeed/ an eye opener to everyone/ especially to your fellow
graduates/ to always do their best/ and give gratitude to their parents/, teachers and of course to your Alma Mater/,
Sto. Domingo Elementary School./ You prove us that/, difficult roads/ lead to beautiful destinations/ if guided by
determination and perseverance./

Willma: We now come to the momentous moment/ the awarding of honors /and special awards to the graduates/.
May we now call on our school principal, Madam Teresa S. Gutierrez,/ and our schools district supervisor to award
the medals and certificates./

AFTER AWARDING……………….

Cherry: Congratulations/ to all our awardees/ who carved a name for themselves/. You deserved/ to be recognized/
and honored./ We hope/ that you will continue/ to excel and strive more/ to go beyond in your future studies/.
Again/, let us give them a round of applause.

We shall now have the pledge of loyalty to be lead by _______________________________, (with honors).

Willma: At this moment, may I present to you the graduates for their graduation song. Let’s give them a round of
applause.

Cherry: Thank you and congratulations dear graduates! /You’ve done fruitful year/s in your grade schoo/l. We all
know/ that before getting those diplomas/, you’ve experience/ a lot of painful sharpening/ which made you
stronger/ and more determined/. In spite of all of those obstacles,/ you never give up,/ and with that we salute you!

Willma: We are indeed blessed/ to have here with us/ our very supportive barangay chairman,/
Hon.________________. Let’s give him a round of applause.

After the message………………….

Cherry: Thank you Kap for sharing with us some techniques and strategies on how to achieve success.

Willma: Indeed/ you’ve come a long way /to your journey/ towards your dreams. But of course/, you will not be here
today/ standing before us/ without these persons behind you,/ helping,/ guiding, /supporting,/ motivating and loving
you/ unconditionally/ without hesitation.

Cherry: Graduation/ is not just a ceremony/y for our graduates, /but most of all/ beyond all those diplomas/ and
certificates/ that you had just receive/, it is a must/ to thank all your proud parents/ who worked hard/ just for your
future./ And now, /as an act of appreciation, /let us welcome again the graduates/ as they sing their song of gratitude
/for their loving and hardworking parents. /Let’s give them a big hand/.

AFTER SINGING TRIBUTE TO THE PARENTS………..

Willma: That was truly/ a heart-warming song of gratitude!/ Congratulations dear parents,/ you deserved that act of
appreciation/ for all your hard works and sacrifices.
Cherry: Our dear graduates,/ you are now /on the next step/ of your journey /and you are faced/ with greater
challenges/ and more responsibilities/. Always bear in mind /the things you’ve learned in your Alma Mater./ Be
strong/ and brave enough/ to chase for your dreams./ Aim high!/ and curve your names/ on this special spot on
earth! / We wish you all the best/ and success in life./

Willma: As you open new doors/ of your life, /may you continue/ to do your best /and have a strong /faith in God/.
This is just your first step/ towards your journey. /Dream big, /but never make them/ just a castle in the air./ Do not
stop /until you reach your destination./ Together, /we can make this happen./ We can make it possible.
