family life!

Hello. I am Diego! This is a short story about me and my family. I’m 18

years old. My parents are Daniel and Valentina. They’re 44 and 41 respectively.
I have an older sister. Her name is Lucía. She is 23. We have a pet. It is a dog.
Its name is Sparks. We love our dog!

I study medicine at the National University. I usually have to take a bus

or sometimes ride my bicycle to the university. I never have to walk! I study
from 8am to 1pm, and from 3pm to 6pm.

On the weekends, I like to exercise but my mother does not. She works
hard at home every day (she’s a housewife!). She gets up early in the morning
and makes breakfast. On the contrary, my father gets up late because he
doesn’t work anymore. He is retired. They usually go shopping on Saturday
mornings and they like to eat ice cream on Sunday afternoons.

Lucía is a nurse. She works in a local clinic. She has many

responsibilities. She has to give injections and medicine to patients. She wants
to study a post-graduate career. “I need a new job and extra money...”, she
says. “... because I want a house!”

In the evenings, we usually reunite at home and watch TV. At 9:30pm, I

drink something and go to bed. My parents go to bed at 10:30pm. My sister
goes to bed at 11pm and she sometimes likes to sleep with our dog Sparks. XD
