5th Meeting
a. Exploration
 To ask the students mentioning buildings in SMPN one Balikpapan.
 To correct students answer.
 To explain about direction and preposition.
 To dictate student about the location of each building in SMPN one Balikpapan.
 To ask student making map of SMPN one Balikpapan according to teacher’s
information (dictation)

b. Elaboration
 To ask students to make a small group consist of 3 or 4 students
 To discuss with friends the correct answer.
 To ask students to rewrite teacher information in group.

c. Confirmation
 Do peer assessment to re correct his / her friend’s mistakes in pronunciation and
grammar (asking them to give the score and reasons).

6th Meeting (Listening – in multimedia laboratory)


a. Exploration
 To ask students reading the listening text.
 To find key words meaning from dialogue.
 To listen the dialogue from vcd / cassette (2x)

b. Elaboration
 To complete the missing sentences from the dialogue.
 To repeat the pronunciation and intonation of sentences played.
 To practice the dialogue according to the material.

c. Confirmation
 To discuss about “grammar” learned.
 To identify function of the expressions have
learned.
 To listen the sentences played by teacher.
 To repeat the sentences they heard and
correct it if they make mistakes.
 To answer questions related to the text.

 Teacher asks students to practice dialogue has been learned. (Students practice to act
based on the dialogue).
 Teacher plays the cassette to the students once more again. Teacher pauses sentence
by sentence and students try to memorize what have been he heard and pronounce it.
Teacher points student has raised her hand for the first time. If student still make
mistakes. The correct answer is filled as score.

2). Written test

 While doing learning activities in language laboratory, teacher asks students to complete
the listening text / dialogue provided through listen the cassette twice.
