• Desire : Desire is a sense of longing for a person or object or hoping for anoutcome. When a
person desires something or someone, their sense of longing is excited by the enjoyment or the

• Wish : A wish is a hope or desire for something.
• Hope : Hope is the emotional state which promotes the belief in a positive outcome related to events and
circumstances in one's life. In the English language the word can be used as either a noun or a verb,
although hope as a concept has a similar meaning in either use.
