I am a graduate of the University of Ghana with Bachelor of Science degree in


Statistics and Psychology. As part of satisfying my requirement for the award of the

Agriculture in Africa Schools and Reduce Youth Unemployment
Collaborating institutions: University of Cambridge, Makerere University, University of
Ghana and Cambridge Africa Partnership for Research Excellence (CAPREx)

Synopsis: Study sort to determine appropriate vocational methods for improving the teaching
and learning of agriculture in Africa schools and for out-of-school youths to reduce
unemployment.
Roles/Responsibilities

• Perform community entry and explained study objective to potential study participant.
• Administered study questionnaires to second cycle school Agricultural and English
teachers within four regions of the country.
• Assisted in creation of data entering template using SPSS.
• Routine data entering and cleaning throughout the period of the study to ensure valid
data.

Study Title: Ghana Early Grade Reading Impact Evaluation. (EGRA): developing the essence
of the use of mother tongue instruction.
