Here we have the glory that is the 320d four


banger. I assume the 330d and other variants
are no different for this job.

Start by removing the side covers on the


scuttle panel exposing the brake fluid
reservoir and the ecu box.

Now remove the pollen filter box.

Remove the scuttle panel

Say hello to the Ecu box

Remove the ECU box cover. Be careful....2


slidey locks and lots of black clips that break
if you even think about them wrong.

This is the relay that needs changed;


remember before you do this to disconnect
the battery

Check the condition of this earth; this is ALL


of the ECU earths. Clean if necessary and
ensure its tight to the frame.

Reconnect battery and off you go
