MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON 24.03.2018 REGARDING UPE

A meeting was held at CEO(DEA) Rahim Yar Khan Office under the chairman ship of Mr.
Muhammad Afzal Gill , Additional Director (Admin), DPI(SE) , Lahore on 24-03-2018. The meeting
was attended by
 Chief Executive Officer (DEA) Rahim Yar Khan
 District Education Officer (SE) , Rahim Yar Khan.

Main agenda of meeting was preparation and formulation of action plan for UPE 2018-19. In
meeting all Dy.DEOs presented booklet for catchment area for UPE survey. Many instructions and
guidelines were given by Respected M. Afzal Gill regarding performa for catchment area. Important
points of meeting were as follows.

1. List of Area Code should be taken from election commission for the purpose of identification
of catchment areas
2. Each Dy. DEO can get list of family No. House No. and other relevant information for
catchment area from ECP list.
3. Each school will nominate at least Two Teacher of for the purpose of Door to Door Survey.
4. The Teacher who will go for the purpose of survey must mark each house with black markers.
5. Each Teacher (Surveyor) will write a code reflecting Total children and out of school children.
[eg. If Total Children =5 and OSC =2 then code may be 2/5 UPE 2018]
6. There will be a Teacher as a supervisor our 10 Teacher (Surveyor) who will follow the codes
outside each home will mark with red markers.
7. There will be a super Checker in each markaz who will mark each home with green marker.
8. In the survey Performa those children who are already in schools there unique number will be
written for rest child OSC will be written. Catchment will be notified by CEO (DEA) RYK.
9. Special attention will be given to the establishment of satellite schools.
10. Each High schools must establish at least one satellite school and depute on teacher over there.
11. An MoU has been signed between School Education Department and an NGO who will adopt
421 schools in district Rahim Yar khan to help out in achieving UPE Target.
12. District education managers have to Identify those 421 schools which will be adopted by
NGO.
