Let me ask you something. How many of you use the internet? Please raise your hand

The Internet is not a strange word for us to hear. Many people have used it. On this occasion I will
not explain the history or the origin of the internet. But I will explain about how the impact of the internet
on moral values, especially on teenager’s daily life.

The rapid development of technology has led to a new revolution of communication. Let’s call it
“Internet”. he has an important role in many fields. Such in military, education, entertainment, finance
etc.

Undeniable, the internet can bring a positive impact for adolescents, including assisting in the
education process. For example, the internet can be used as media to find the source of learning quickly,
so it can increase knowledge of adolescents.

The development of internet can indeed expand the socialization of adolescents. However, if not
used properly, the internet will bring adverse effects for teenagers. As a result, not a few teens who prefer
to confine themselves in the room to enjoy the internet or play games on his smartphone.

With the internet, our daily lives become more efficient. However, the internet also has a negative
impact on humans, especially teenagers. One is the change of morality and personality that leads to more
individualism.

No doubt, if the life of adolescents in the age of globalization is different from the old days.
Currently, many facilities that make teenagers feel eased. so, their passion for achieving dreams becomes
weak. Teenagers who are more fun live in social media, even to not participate in activities in the
neighborhood where he lived. Of course, this is a digression in moral values and personality resulting from
the influence of the development of internet.

In order to prevent negative impacts of internet from damaging the morale and personality of
teenagers, it is necessary for the role of parents, teachers and the public in monitoring the use of internet.
Parents, teachers and the public should dare to punish teenagers who violate moral values due to negative
internet impacts. By maximizing the role of parents, teachers and the public, then the negative effect of
internet on the morale and personality of adolescents can be resolved.
