Eco-Friendly and Financial Benefits of RIDUKO Technology compare to Conventional Rice Farming

l. Introduction:

Climate change has an impact to the whole world. Particularly, the agricultural sector. Gone by the days
that the farmer just look up the sky and calculate the best time to plant a certain crops but now no
more.

Aside from the unstable seasons our farmer suffer the infestations of Golden Apple Snails known as “
kuhol”. They treat the kuhol as a pest. Most of the farmer applied molluskciside into their farm. Without
knowing it they contributed the climate change we are facing now.

Our farmers spend a huge amount for labor and fertilizer for every planting period. Farmer can hardly
breakeven the expense over their harvest.

Unless the farmer realize that kuhol is a blessing rather than a curse they can augment their income.

ll. Objectives:

To educate and advocate the farmers in my locality about the RIDUKO Technology, and the many
benefits that they can acquire.

Specific Objectives: are as follows,

1. First to apply the RIDUKO technology in my locality.

( To see, is to believe mentality)
2. Teach them how to utilize kuhol for human consumption and for animal consumption as well.
3. Facilitate the farmer to become an agri-preneur.
4. To minimize/eradicate the application of pesticide/mollusksicide in the rice field
