CIRCUIT

IV.PROCEDURE
1.Gather all the materials that you will need to make the Night Switch (components, Printed
Circuit Board, Schematic Diagram of a Night Switch). You will apply the sandpaper to smoothen
the surface of the PCB.
2. Get the Schematic Diagram of the Night Switch and familiarize the components that you will
put on the PCB.
3. After familiarizing the Schematic Diagram, put the appropriate materials or mount it to the
PCB. (You can start at the D1, D3, D4, D5 but note the lead polarity.). You can also insert D2 but
be remindful of its pin orientation.
4. Insert the trimmer resistor R7, capacitors C1 and C2 into the PCB.
5. Insert all Watt resistors in their respective locations in the PCB.
6. Insert the Triac 1
7.Insert the photoresistor LDR1.
8. After you mounted all the components, start soldering it one by one using soldering iron and
lead. (LDR1 photoresistor may be directly soldered into the PCB by shielded wire.
9. The output may be directly connected to the base of the lamp of via a convenience outlet.
Use a tleast a NO.18 AWG insulated connecting wire for the load lamps and the supply line.
