Brief Bio

I am a researcher with over 6 years’ experience in Social, Opinion and Market Research. I have a very good
technical know-how in managing and executing small to large-scale social, opinion and market research surveys for
domestic and international agencies, government agencies, grant organizations and academic institutions.

Over the years, Eric has acquired vast knowledge in implementing evaluation studies, public policy and governance
research, market assessment surveys, organizational assessments and quality surveys, data collection and supervision.
Eric has demonstrated experience in implementing small to large scale research projects with local and international
organizations & donors including: governance studies with, NDI (National Democracy Institute) health studies with
the UNICEF, RED CROSS, WORLD VISION, Population Services Kenya (PS Kenya), gender and agriculture
studies with Fairtrade Africa, Syngenta East Africa; financial studies with Opportunity International; and many more.

Main project features The project aimed to build community
resilience through improving food security
and livelihoods in households, improving
health, hygiene and sanitation as well
increasing community response to disasters in
the target communities of Turkana and West
Pokot counties through a number of
strategies: expanding the project into Kasei
and Turkwel divisions in West Pokot County;
introducing beekeeping as a livelihood
option; introducing of shade net irrigation in
Kainuk division; and addressing security
issues through enhanced community
involvement and building capacity of project
staff and volunteers about the project security.
The baseline evaluation therefore sought to:
determine the current food security and water,
sanitation & hygiene situation in the target
communities in Kainuk, Kasei and Turkwel
divisions; determine disaster management
knowledge of targeted households in the

Turkwell divisions; and determine knowledge
and capacity of community disaster
management groups in the target communities
