Bunaken National Marine Park
The Bunaken National Marine Park is located at the north of the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia. The marine
Park is made up of the mainland along the coas of Manado and five islands; the Bunaken, Manado Tua,
siladen, Mantehage and Nain.
Bunaken is about 45-60 minutes by boat from Manado. It is the most amazing diving place in the world. The
Bunaken National Marine Park are extremely deep (1.560 meter in Manado bay). However, people can dife
safely at Bunaken. The temperature is about 27-29 celcius. Divers can finds corals, fish, sponges, clams and
other sea species in the water. Bunaken has about 60 kinds of corals and a thousan of fish species. Bunaken
Marine Park is such a treasure trove of biodiversity.

Indonesia has a lot of forest. The forest are numerous. They are in Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi;
papua and some other islands. We can find a large number of plants and animals in the forest. Theerefore,
many foreighner make study about the Indonesian plants and animals.
Some of the animals are monkeys, tigers, elephants, wild bulls, bears, rhinocerous, etc. These are wild
animals. We can find them in some forest in our country. If we won’t to go to the forest, we can see them
in the zoo. Nowadays the number of the wild animals has become smaller because people like to hunt
them down. Our goverment is very concerced about this matter, and that’s why some animals are
protected.
Animals that are protected by the goverment are rhinocerous, elephant, bulls, orangutans, sumatrans
tigers, comodos, peacock, cendrawasih, etc. Our goverment build some reservations so that the animals
will not become extinct.

The gunung Leuseur National Park cover 8.000 square kilometers. It is the larges national park in Southeast
Asia and is the most importantt nature reserve in Indonesia. It consist mainly of bush, forest and jungle. It is
situated on North Sumatra, Northwest of Medan, and it is part the Bukit Barisan range of montain in the
Bukit Barisan range.
It is famous for it is orchid andd for it’s beautiful trees. It has a varied wildlife including elephant, tigers,
monkeys, deers, and malayan sun bear. It’s birdlife include different kinds of hornbills and the argus
pheasant.
The gunung Leuseur National Park is famous internationally because of orangutan rehabilitation centre
near bukit lawang. This has become favorite place for many Indonesian visitors every year. So you see,

The wolf and the stork
A long time ago, the wolf and the stork were friends. One day, the wolf asked the dtork to come to his
house to eat. When the stork arrived at wolf’s house, the wolf put two bowls of soup on the table. The wolf
break the bowl of soup so quickly. When he finished, he ask the stork, sis you like my soup ?
But the stork was angry because he couldn’t eat the soup. His break too long. When the strok went home,
mhe was still hungry. The wolf laughed. Then the storkhad an idea, he asked the wolf to come to dinner. He
fillled two tall pitchers with good soup. They began to eat. When the stork finished eating, he asked the
wolf if he wanted more to eat but the wolf was very angry. His mouth was so big nthat he couldn’t get it
