Present Present Progressive
progressive
Present progressive tense is a tense in the English
Liliana Rojas language used to express the idea that something is not
finished. The action is, or is not, in a state of
progression. While the focus of the present progressive
tense is on what is happening in the present moment,
there are a few different ways this can be formed.
There are four ways to use present progressive tense.
First, you can use it to describe an action that is, or is
not, happening right now, at this very moment. Let's
look at some examples:

 I am running.
 He is not cleaning.
 ¿Are they studying right now?

Present progressive tense can also be used to describe

a longer, or temporary, action in process that may, or
may not, be happening right now. Let's look at some
examples:

 We are still taking dance classes.

 ¿Are you building a house?
 I am not studying to become a teacher.

Third, present progressive tense can be used to indicate

something that has been planned, and will, or will not,
be happening in the near future. Some examples:

 ¿Are you coming shopping with us after school?

 They are not taking that vacation next week.
 Is he meeting you at the coffee shop tomorrow
afternoon?

Finally, present progressive tense can be used to

describe a habitual action, or something that is always
happening. For instance:

 They are always talking too loudly.

 I am constantly biting my fingernails.
 She is always taking too long to get ready.

When writing or speaking in the present progressive

tense, there are some basic sentence parts you should
use. One of these is the subject of the sentence, or who
the sentence is about. This might be described with I,
you, he, she, it, we, they, etc. Another basic sentence
part is the present tense form of the verb 'to be,' which
is am, is, are. Another basic sentence part used in
sentences with present progressive tense is the present
participle of the verb being used, or the verb + -ing.
Some examples are dancing, jumping, and crying.
Forming Present Progressive:
Now, let's put those sentence parts together to create
three types of present progressive sentences:
affirmative, negative, and interrogative sentences.
Affirmative sentences :state that something is
happening. They contain a subject + am/is/are +
present participle. Let's look at some examples in
action:

 He is jumping.
 They are going to the store.
 I am making cookies.

There is/are
Here it is / There is. These expressions are used to
express the amount of objects or people that are in a
certain place. Both forms mean "There". The difference
is that the first is used for the singular and the second
for the plural. There is a chair in the bedroom. There is
a chair in the bedroom.
Frequency Adverbs are defined as "that part of the sentence that
adverbs modifies the meaning of verbs or other words." There
are different types of adverbs; such as: Adverbs of
Rosaly
time, place, mode, quantity and affirmation.
Ruiz The main adverbs of frequency in English are: never,
hardly ever, seldom, rarely, occasionally, sometime,
often, usually and always.

Where is the frequency adverb placed?

The adverbs of frequency in English are always placed
after the subject and before the main verb EXCEPT with
the verb to be and the modal verbs, in which the
adverb of frequency is placed after these.

* ALSO, some of them like usually, sometimes and

occasionally can go to the beginning of a sentence.

Examples:
Adverb of frequency after the subject and before
the verb
• He never buys expensive clothes
Adverb of frequency after the verb to be and
modal verbs
• She is always late
Adverb of frequency at the beginning of a
sentence
• Sometimes I wake up at 3 pm

Writing correctly is an essential requirement and is the

first thing about what is to be achieved.
Connectors in
Grammar is the structure on which to raise writing, it is
writing
necessary and it is unforgivable not to know its
Zenith foundations, but no memorable palace is only structure.
Fernández Subjecting the art of perfect grammar generates an
obtuse and unobstructed dystopia.
example, writing uses it to create art or rhythm, that is,
rhythm is a fundamental quality of good writing, rhythm
is part of reading a book, who does not understand
rhythm can kill a story, in writing it generates the
monotonous rhythm, that of poetry or the art of a step
by step. making this a good imagination in reading.

4. Letter with pictures and the paragraphs with different colors.

DEAR MOM
The reason because I am writing this letter, is tell you that I am in good
health. Really France is a beautiful country especially here in Paris. Mom,
I am so happy to have come to live with my husband here, to form our
new family . These two months in this city have been great, at first we
asked ourselves things like: will we be happy here? Will we adapt to this
new lifestyle? and the truth now that this has already passed, these
doubts we had about it have disappeared. I am going to tell you about
the city, places, about my house and how is our daily routine since we
are here.

Since I moved my life has been wonderful with my husband, as we have

had changes in our daily lives, this city is like a fairy tale has places
spectacular tourist, its cuisine is different from what has been seen,
people are kind and friendly gentiles, its source of employment is very
broad and work more comfortable. the schedule change affected me at
the beginning but I'm getting used to it. Dear mother, if you could see
how happy I am to be in Paris, this city is full of beautiful parks, beautiful
restaurants, 5 star hotels and the streets are illuminated in a beautiful
way.
Look at the house in the picture. There is a dining room in front of the
room, near the living room is a very nice picture and under is a large
carpet. There is a lamp above the table in the dining room. There are
several chairs in the living room. There is a table with a Little lamp. In
the kitchen there are a big refigerator and a stove next to dining
room. The house has two bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms. In my
bedroom, I have a Big bed, a tv in front of my bed, There is a garden
behind the house, with nice plants. In front of my house there is a big
park. Behind, on the backyard, there is a little swimming pool for rest.
I get up at 6.50
I make a cup of tea and iron my clothes.
I have a shower and get dressed.
I usually wear jeans, a blouse, and boots in the winter, or a skirt and
blouse in the summer.
I put on make-up. I pack my bag with all my teaching materials. Then I
put on my coat and leave the house. I walk to the bus stop. I take the
bus at 8.15. It takes about 45 minutes to get to my destination three
miles away. I get off the bus and walk to the school where I teach English.
I have to sign in and get the key. Class starts at 9.25 and ends at 11.25.
I have lunch at 12 the day. I eat a sandwich at the local café. I sometimes
do some shopping before I walk back to school. I do some photocopying
and go back to my classroom. I teach in the afternoon from 1 to 3pm. I
then take the bus back home and spend a couple of hours relaxing before
I cook dinner.
My husband goes to work shortly after I come home. Sometimes he cooks
dinner before I get home, and sometimes I cook. After dinner I wash up,
sweep the floor, and tidy up a bit.
Then I make phone calls, review my students’ work, do the laundry. Then
I go on Facebook, or watch TV until about 10.30 when my husband comes
home. We catch up on our day, and at about 11 o’clock I go to bed.
I hope to have you very soon in this wonderful country
Greetings.
