INDONESIA

Indonesia is the biggest archipelago in the world that has


17.508 islands, consisted of 34 provinces 5 big island
which is Sumatera, Java, Borneo, Sulawesi, and Papua.
There are at least 350 tribes and 700 indigenous
languanges. Indonesia has 25,000 flora and 2,601 fauna.
Indonesia has symbol that called GARUDA. Also,
Indonesia has motto that called “bhinneka tunggal ika”
or “unity in diversity”.

DIVERSITY
Indonesia has more than 250 million people, 350 etnic groups, 700
indigenous languanges, and have 6 religions, which are Islam, Christian,
Catolic, Hindhu, Buddhism, and Kong Hu Cu. Don’t let this deter you
from visiting Indonesia, because with this large population comes many
interesting people and stories.

walled settlement of the Dutch in
Jakarta area. The area gained
importance during the 17th-19th
century, when it was established as the
de facto capital of the Dutch East Indies.

Bandung is the capital of West Java, and
Indonesia’s third largest city by
population, with over 2.4 million.
Bandung is famous for Tangkuban
Perahu which based on Indonesian folk
legend.

DEPOK
Depok is a city on the southern border
of Jakarta. Depok itself comes from
Sundanese languange, meaning
“hermitage” or abode of one living in
seclusion. One of the best University in
Indonesia is located in Depok, which
known as Universitas Indonesia.
BOGOR
Bogor is located around 60 km from
Jakarta. Bogor is the 6th largest city and
the 14th nationwide. The city has a
presidential palace which known as
Kebun Raya Bogor.

Rice is main food of Indonesian. Mostly, Indonesian eat rice 3
times a day, but don’t be afraid, we still have bread and
vegetables. Indonesian like to eat spicy and sweet, but it
depends of the island you lived in. In west and east, people
like to eat spicy. But, in the middle (java) mostly people like to
eat sweet.

This is one of good transportation that Jakarta have, because it has
the clearly route. Generally it cost Rp. 3500,-

Stand for “Angkutan Umum” or Public Transport. Basically, Angkot is
like Trans Jakarta, it has clear route but without air conditioner.
Generally it cost Rp.3000/Rp.4000 per trip.

Taxi is one of transportation that usually people use. There are a lot
kind of taxi in Jakarta. The price usually start from Rp.6000/Rp.7000,-
and moving in every few seconds.

Indonesia has partnership with giant online transportation company,
such as Gojek, Grab, and Uber. To use this online transportation, it
required to download the application that available in AppleStore and
PlayStore. The vehicle that have been used also varied, from
motorcycle to luxurious car. The application show the estimated
distance and cost.

WHAT IS

AIESEC is the worlds largest youth-run organization. Active in


over 1,700 universities across 126 countries and territories,
our international platform enables young people to explore

poistive impact in society.

AIESEC
AIESEC IPMI IBS was established in 2015 and had been
strengthening its foundation ever since. The rapid
development of the organization leads to the execution of the
very first IGCDP Adhoc in 2016. The first president is
Alexander Aditya. Since then, AIESEC IPMI IBS had been a part
of AIESEC Indonesia and located in IPMI campus, Jakarta,
Indonesia.
