INSTRUCTION TO THE CANDIDATES APPEARING FOR THE INTERVIEW:
1) The interviews are in two parts :
i) Day-1 : Presentation will be in the respective departments. The subject of presentation will be
on any courses in the curriculum & NOT on PhD topic. The presentations will be on white/black
boards No PPTs are required.
ii) Day-2 : Personal Interviews will be held in the Ante-Chamber of the Director in the Main
Administration Building.
2) The candidate must appear for both parts as above, failing in either or both, he/she will be treated as
Absent.
3) Shortlisted eligible candidates as per provisional list, appearing for the respective interviews should
report at Senate Hall, situated at 1st Floor, Admin Building half an hour before the scheduled time
(at 8:00 am) on the days of presentation and interview.
4) The candidates should bring with them any one of the identity proof in original like 1. Voter Photo
identity card issued by Election Commission of India 2. Driving License 3.Passport 4. PAN Card issued
by Income Tax Department 5.Unique Identification Card "Aadhaar". The Identity Card should be clearly
legible and not mutilated.
5) The candidates who are serving in Govt. / Semi Govt. / PSUs / Universities / Educational Institutions
should produce “No Objection Certificate” issued by competent authority at the time of interview, failing
which candidate shall not be eligible to appear for presentation and interview.
6) Candidates should bring all relevant certificates and testimonials in original at the time of interview
(Original and one set attested copies). In case candidate fails to bring relevant original documents for
verification he will not be allowed to appear for Presentation and Interview.
7) No TA/DA will be paid to attend the selection process. No stay arrangements are possible.
8) The SC, ST, OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates (if applicable) should bring original caste certificates
as per central list and other relevant certificates (PWD if applicable) as issued by competent authority at
the time of interview.
9) The decision of the Director, VNIT, Nagpur will be final in all respect.
