I write as an Attorney of Mr. Ashok Kumar Sivaram having been issued with a Pow
Attorney to act on his behalf on Friday, 9 March, 2018
It would be recalled that Mr. Sivaram was deported from Ghana on 1 June, 2017 under the
hand of the Minister of Interior to which a petition dated 9 June, 2017 was submitted to your
office by his Solicitors, Attached is a copy of the said petition for your ease reference.
Mr, Sivaram returned into the country on 2%! August, 2017 following the High Court quasking
the Deportation Order on 31+ July, 2017. Attached is a copy of the ruling for your ease
reference.
Following the decision of the Ghana Immigration Service not to restore the Residence/Work
Permit which was cancelled on 15 June, 2017, an application for Mandamus was filed at the
High Court and same was granted.
Unfortunately, the Supreme Court took a different view and quast
Court on 8t March, 2018.
Surprisingly, on 11% March, 2018, officers of the
residence of Mr. Ashok Kumar Sivaram and with bl
him out of the country the same day. Whilst on the,
