ABSTRACT

This study entitled “Anda (Anti-Damo) Remote-Controlled Grass Cutting Machine”

mainly focused on creating a remote-controlled grass cutting machine that is portable, and
effective in terms of cutting grass while adapting to different locations at a satisfactory manner.
The researchers tested the grass cutting function effectivity by means of measuring the total
mean percentage of the height the machine can cut. The researchers also made tests for the
location adaptivity of the machine, as well as its charging and usage time. Results show that the
machine can cut an average 84% of grass’ total height, and can travel in a flat track up to 70.3 ft,
32 ft on rough track and only 8 ft on a rocky surface. The machine’s usage time, is 12 hours with
solar panel and 8 hours without. The charging time of the machine was also tested and showed
results of 6 hours, for the 12-volt relay drive power supply, and 3 hours for the DC motor power
supply. Based on the results, the researchers conclude that Anda Remote-Controlled Grass
Cutting Machine is effective in cutting grass. Furthermore, the researchers observed that it
showed satisfactory location adaptivity among the three different tracks. Moreover, the
researchers conclude that the usage time of the machine is adequate for it to perform tasks, with
or without solar panel. In addition to this, the charging time of its power supplies is
uncompromising, given that it is less that the usage time the machine can run with.
