Prior to your inquiry for a Toilet Roll Processing Business, I

want to let you know that toilet rolls are an everyday consuming
necessity used by every person. The market is ongoing and is
not dependent on economic cycle and its one of the fastest
moving consumer goods in the Nigeria commodity market
today. The demand for toilet roll would continue to expand as
the standard of living continues to get higher every day. Special
supply are always made to Hotels, Hospitals, Schools, Offices
etc; they most times demand to brand their names or trademark
on the tissue labels or surface for awareness and adverts
purposes.

The Toilet Roll production plant is a stationary one to be

sourced locally with just 3 raw materials.

1) Core making Paper

2) Tissue Jumbo Reel,
3) Cassava starch for gluing the core tube and also for sealing
the tissue tips.
The complete Unit or set of machines are made up of 4
different machines with different functions.

The Core making machine: - This is the machine that produce

the inner thick brown or white paper which the tissue papers
are rolled on, from cardboard papers to core tube, this machine
can be optional since there are other manual and cheaper ways
of producing a handmade core with PVC pipes that we will train
you during installation, but if you insist on getting this machine,
it is fabricated at N350,000, (Three Hundred and
fifty Thousand Naira).

2) The Jumbo Reel Rewinding Machine:- Is the machine

which recoils from jumbo reels to the core tube, and
automatically stopped at a programmed diameter size by the
help of a limit switch. Sizes can either be 4 by 4 inches length
and diameter (Normal Tissue Size), 6 by 6 inches length and
diameter (Jumbo Tissue Size), 2 & half by 4 inches length and
diameter (Hotel sizes) and 4 by 10 inches (Kitchen Towels
size). Please view attached pictures to see the machines.
This machine is sold together with the Band Saw Cutting
Machine for Six Hundred and fifty Thousand Naira without
embossment and Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira
(N750,000) with embossment.
N.B. Embossment is the deep prints on the surface of the
Tissue and a Tissue Roll can either be plain or embossed.
3) The Band-saw cutting machine: Has a shape rolling blade
and an adjuster, cuts the long length recoiled tissue into its
normal sizes there by making both edges of the tissue rolls very
neat and perfectly slotted. This machine is included in the
N750,000 or N1150,000 price respectively
The Glass Nylon wrappers goes for 3 Naira per piece, having
build your customized Cylinder or Mold, The wrapping process
are performed manually.
4) Hot Gun and Sealing Machines:- Are needed so as to
shrink the wrapper and make it more tight and to also sealing
the Tissue Bags or Tissue Bails which contains 48 pic Normal
Size or 12 pics Jumbo Size.
Our fabricators fabricate these machines here in Nigeria. And
the efficiency and durability of the machines are guaranteed.
This does not mean that, we cannot locate foreign machines.
We can locate any type of foreign machine if commissioned to
do so. The Major Raw material which is the Jumbo Reel is a
giant size tissue roll like the size of a G.P. Tank. These Jumbo
reels are rolled in 250 kg size which means that 4 giant sizes of
250 kg jumbo make a ton, some company roll their in 3 giant
sizes that is 330 into 2 and 340 making 1 ton. A ton of jumbo
reel is sold between N180, 000 to N230, 000 depending on the
quality, ploxyness and whiteness.

Jumbo Reels are manufactured in Nigeria by many paper

recycling companies and are no more sold at pay and pick up
due to large demand for it. Companies that manufacture Jumbo
Reels includes :- Boulos group of companies, Triple H, Apex
Paper Mill, Epesok paper mill, Crown Paper mill, Prorich
 Industry, Axxon Energy, A.N Ejagu Industry, Topan Africana
recycling plant, Paladini and many more. Imported Jumbo
Reels are also available.

Cash flow: With the above materials, you will produce Fifteen
thousand (15,000) units () of toilet roll which will be sold at N35
each at company’s sale rate before the wholesaler and retailers
will sell at their own price. The cylinder for the nylon is
available? And is obtainable at OKwea Street Onitsha in
Anambra State. Okwea Street is a popular paper market in
Onitsha. It can be printed by Ikeagu Press also in Onitsha, Ajayi
Press Enugu and Olufemi Press Ikeja Lagos Nigeria.

COST OF PRODUCING HIGH QUALITY TOILET ROLE with

(one ton of Jumbo Reel):

No. of Tissue paper produced 15,000 at N35 = N525, 000 less

cost of production N251,500 = N273, 500(Two hundred and
 seventy three thousand five hundred naira) per day. A factory
can produce 30,000 that, is 2 tones of Jumbo reel in a day,
depending on the number of workers employed.

THIS COSTING IS FOR LOW QUALITY TISSUE PAPER PRODUCTION.

No. of Tissue paper produced 16,000 at N32 = N512, 000

less cost of production N249, 000 = N263,000 (Two hundred
and sixty three thousand naira) profits per day. A factory
can produce 32,000 Rolls of Toilet Rolls, which is 2 tones
of Jumbo reel in a day, depending on the number of
workers employed and their proficiency. Quantity
produced from low quality jumbo will increase by 1,000
because the jumbo is thicker comparing with high quality
which lighter and softer.
Production processes: The production of toilet rolls involves
the following processes. First, the core making paper glued and
folded round a PVC pipe to the length of 6fts then the PVC pipe
will be pulled out after the folded papers hardened is turned to
a handmade core tube or core pipe which is fed into the
rewinding machine and tissue from the Jumbo reels are then
glued to the core pipe and the rolling begins at the push of a
button which automatically stops at 4 or 6inches diameter
respectively depending on your limit switch adjustment.
This is now sent to the Band Saw Cutting Machine where the
Toilet Rolls are cut into the desired market size. The finished
toilet rolls are then manually wrapped with a printed glass nylon
or paper wrapper and packaged in a bag or bail of 12 or 48
pics, sealed and sent to the store, ready for sale. The finishing
is just perfect.
Toilet roll making industry requires 5 workers for the 2 tons per
day maximum daily output of the machines(2 male operators on
the machines and 3 female workers for the wrapping and core
making section)

GENERATING SET.
The ideal power generator to power this plant in a continues
process is at least 15 KVA Diesel (1125) or 8800 Petrol
Generator. We recommend 1115 to 1125 capacities Sifang or
Techno Engine direct coupling with 15 KVA single face
alternator 100% copper.
The minimal space to set up this PLANT is a three bed room
Flat with big pallor or its open space equivalent, the parlor were
these machines will be install must be up to 12 by 16 feet
length and width one of the rooms for office, another for storing
finished products, the last room will be for storing of raw
materials. Please note that the doors must be extra large so
that jumbo reels can come in.

Factory plan designed by our able designers/architectures is

sold at N10, 500.
We may accept 100%, or 75% of the cost of the Machineries
before commencement of fabrication, while other installments
can be made as work progresses. 100% payment must be
made before delivering. For foreign Machineries we demand
10% commission, this is payable to Vester Royal Business
Magnet Company, if we assisted you in locating the machine.
On the locally fabricated Machineries, we supply at the above
prices.
We can locate, install and train you on foreign machines, if you
so wish but we highly recommend locally fabricated once for
many reasons from spare parts being readily available, to
durability and affordability,
