Orias… distinguished speakers for this three-day training. Participants, pleasant day
to you all.
We are so delighted to have you here today and the succeeding three days to
participate, to develop, and to advance your journalistic skills.
Last July, as u could still remember… it was a very productive mentoring I suppose…
Your coming here today is an indication that you are willing to become part of the
step that our division would like to undertake in the field of journalism. Your being
here means how important this activity is. This Division Training on Campus
Journalism would give the you potential writers the opportunity to discover and to
strengthen your journalistic skills. And to the school paper advisers, this will help
you decide and place the writer appropriate to specific category.this will tickle your
passion for writing as this is the most important above all.
Our task is to make everything possible, our mission is to make a step by step
assistance to the neophytes and to share insights to those who are advanced.
As you will be sitting there and working with each other, prepare to be challenged
and inspired. Never mind tough times and the difficulties that you may encounter
in acquiring the skill… According to C.S. Lewis, “Hardships often prepare ordinary
people to extraordinary destiny”.
