Schedule - A
(See Clause 10.1)
1 THE SITE
1.1 The site of Project Highway shall include land, buildings, structures & road works as
described in Annex - I of this Schedule - A
1.2 An inventory of the Site including land, buildings, structures, road works, trees and any
other immovable property on, or attached to, the site shall be prepared jointly by the
Authority Representative and the Concessionaire, and such inventory shall form part of the
memorandum referred to in clause 10.3.1 of the agreement.
1.3 Additional land required for toll plaza, Traffic Aid post, medical aid post and vehicle rescue
post or for construction of works specified in the Change of Scope Order issued under
clause 16.2.3 of this Agreement shall be acquired in accordance with the provisions of
Clause 10.3.6 of this Agreement. Upon acquisition, such land shall form part of the Site and
vest in Authority.

1. Site
The site of project highway is a section of National Highway No.150A from Existing km
309.150 to km 359.120 in the State of Karnataka and comprises the land, carriageway and
structures described herein.

3. Carriageway
The existing carriageway width of the project highway is of 2-lane with paved shoulders
except in built up stretches, where it is 4-Lane divided carriageway. The existing pavement
is flexible pavement except at bridge locations, carriageway details are given below.

SCHEDULE-B
(See Clause 2.1)
Development of the Project shall include construction of the Project highway as described
in this Schedule-B and in Schedule-C.
2. Four-Laning
2.1 Four laning shall include the Construction of the Four Lane Project Highway as
described in Schedule- B and Schedule – C.
2.2 Four Laning shall be completed by the Concessionaire in conformity with the
Specifications and Standards set forth in Schedule – D.

Annex – I
(Schedule – B)
1. Width of Carriageway
1.1 Four-Laning with paved shoulders shall be undertaken. The paved carriageway shall be
as specified in the Para 2.3 of this Annex-I of Schedule-B.
1.2 Except as otherwise provided in this agreement, the width of the paved carriageway
shall conform to clause 1.1 above.
2. Other Features of Four Laning
The details of existing ROW are given in Annex –I to Schedule A. Proposed ROW with re-
spect of design chaingae for the Project Highway is given below:
The Project Highway shall be constructed to four lane configuration for the Project length.
Typical cross sections required to be developed in different segments of the project
highway are given below.

Note: -
1. Median width tapering shall be considered as per IRC-SP-84-2014 Clause no 2.5.4.
2. Figure 2.4 and Figure 7.8 shall be followed as per IRC-SP-84-2014
3. Intermediate Sight distance shall be followed for vertical curves
4. Any variation in lengths specified in the above table shall not constitute a Change of Scope,
save and except any variation in the length arising out of a change of scope expressly

An alignment plan and longitudinal section (Plan and Profile) of the project highway are
given at Appendix B – I in soft copy for reference only. The plan and profile of the project
road shall be developed separately by the concessionaire.

i) Pavement design
Design of Flexible pavement shall be carried out in accordance with Section 5 of the Manual
for minimum design MSA of 51 MSA for Section I from D. Ch 308+550 to 318+450, 49 MSA
for Section II from D. Ch 318+450 to 346+110 and 52 MSA for Section III from D. Ch
346+110 to 358+500
Design of Flexible pavement shall be carried out in accordance with Section 5 of the Manual
for minimum design traffic of 10 MSA for Service roads and Slip roads.
Rigid pavement is proposed for Toll plaza locations shall be carried out in accordance with
Section 5 of the Manual for minimum design traffic of 7999 Commercial Vehicles per day.
However, minimum crust having composition of 280 mm PQC, 150mm DLC, 150 mm GSB
and 500 mm subgrade shall be provided.
ii) Type of Pavement:
Flexible Pavement shall be provided for the entire project highway including bypasses, Rea-
lignments, Slip roads and Service roads except toll plaza location. However Overlay on ex-
isting carriageway shall be as per detailed design
Rigid Pavement shall be provided for Toll Plaza location.
iii) Design Requirements shall be as specified in the Manual IRC: SP: 84:2014.

are given below, the cross roads shall be regarded and strengthen to have a crust as same
of main carriageway for a length shown in the Ministry’s typed designs for intersections
along-with provision of adequate cross drainage structure on the cross roads.

proper entry/exit to cross roads and slip/service roads.

2.12 Lateral and vertical clearances at underpasses
Lateral and vertical clearances for VUP / Flyover and provision of guardrails /crash barriers
shall be as per paragraph 2.10 of the Manual. The vertical clearance for LVUP shall be 4.0m
as per NHAI Circular no-11014/11/2016-HR-I dated 12-06-2017(Policy Matter -
10.1.16/2017). The width of the opening at the underpasses/ flyovers shall be as follows:

10 nos of cattle crossings of size 7.0 X 3.0 m box structure shall be constructed without

A. Rehabilitation & Repair of Existing Major Bridges and Construction of new Major Bridges:
The following existing major bridges, proposed to be retained and utilized as a bridge for main carriageway on one side, shall be
repaired /strengthened as per the details given below. New two lane and three lane major bridges proposed on both side/required
side of existing bridge as per Cl.7.3 (iv) of manual and shall be constructed as per the details given below:

2.18 Utilities
As per Ministry of Environment and Forests Notification, New Delhi dated 14.01.1997
(as amended on 13.01.1998, 05.01.1999 & 6.11.2000), the construction of Rain wa-
ter, harvesting structure is mandatory in and around Water Crisis area, notified by
the Central Ground Water Board. The provision of rain water harvesting to be exe-
cuted as per requirement of IRC SP: 42-2014 and IRC SP: 50 - 2013
The length of Structures and bridges specified hereinabove shall be treated as an ap-
proximate assessment. The actual lengths as required on the basis of detailed inves-
tigations shall be determined by the Concessionaire in accordance with the Specifica-
tions and Standards. Any variations in the lengths specified in this Schedule-B shall
not constitute a Change of Scope, save and except any variations in the length arising
out of a Change of Scope expressly undertaken in accordance with the provisions
ofArticle16.
3. Project Facilities
The Project Highway shall be constructed in conformity with the Specifications and
Standards specified in Annex – I of Schedule – D.

PROJECT FACILITIES
1. Project Facilities
The concessionaire shall construct the project facilities in accordance with the
provisions of this agreement. Such Project facilities shall include:
(a) Toll Plazas;

Project Facilities forming part of Four-Laning and to be completed on or before the Project
Completion Date have been described in Annex-I of this Schedule-C.

Project Facilities
1. Project Facilities:
The Concessionaire shall construct the Project Facilities described in this Annex-I to form
part of the Four – Lane Project. The Project Facilities shall include:
(a) Toll Plazas;

Above mentioned toll lanes are indicative. Concessionaire shall assess actual
requirement of toll lanes as per actual site condition and manual. These toll lanes
shall be finalized in consultation with Independent Engineer/ Project Director, NHAI.
The additional toll lanes shall not be treated as change of scope. Typical drawing at
Toll plaza shall be followed as per Annex-II of Schedule C
(ii) Solar panels shall be erected over the Toll Plaza Canopy to generate the green
energy. Same shall be utilized for toll plaza lighting with LED lights and other energy
requirement within toll plaza area. In addition to solar panels conventional lighting
shall be provided by Concessionaire.
(iii) All Toll Lanes to be equipped with ETC equipments.
(iv) Weigh in Motion (WIM) devices shall be provided in toll lanes at Toll Plaza
Location. In addition to WIM, Static weigh Bridge (SWBs) shall be provided on each
direction as per manual.
(v) Point of sale (POS) with card swapping machines shall be provided.
(vi) A separate toilet facilities under Swachch Bharat shall be provided near toll plaza
location along with parking facility for road users. One toilet block on each direction
(LHS & RHS) shall be provided. These Toilets facilities must be constructed with
international standards layout which is provided by NHAI and 24 hours functional
including operation and maintenance.
Road side furniture shall be provided in accordance with the Manual of Specifications
and Standards as referred in Schedule D.
i. Traffic Signs: Traffic Signs include roadside signs, overhead signs and kerb
mounted signs etc. along the entire Project Highway. The detailed signage plan
indicating places, direction, distances and other features marked on the change
plan shall be prepared and same shall be finalised in consultation with Inde-
pendent Engineer/Project Director, NHAI as per site requirement.
ii. Overhead signs: Excluding overhead signs and other signs at Toll Plaza location
which are to be provided as per Manual of Specifications and Standards as re-
ferred in Schedule D, the location of these facilities shall be finalized in consulta-

iii. Pavement Markings: Pavement Markings shall cover road marking for the en-
tire Project Highway as per manual.
iv. LED Traffic Beacons: These shall be provided on the entire Project Highway
near pedestrian crossings, public gathering places (Educational Institutions,
Hospitals, Worshipping Places, etc.),cross roads, & median openings.
v. Crash Barrier: W-Metal Beam Crash Barrier shall be provided at built up loca-
tion, High Embankment &, Bridge approaches and curve locations where radius
is less than 450m. The locations for these provisions shall be as per Section 9.7
of manual and finalised in consultation with Independent Engineer/Project Di-
rector, NHAI.
vi. Cat’s Eye / Road Studs: Road Studs shall be provided at Horizontal Curve below
700m, median opening, intersections, Cross roads & Built-up areas (Excluding
Toll Plaza location) and shall confirm to the specifications mentioned in Sched-
ule D.
vii. Delineators: shall be provided as per IRC 79-1981 and requirements & specifi-
cations as per schedule D.
viii. Hectometre/Kilometre stones: shall be provided for the entire Project Highway
as per the manual.

ix. Boundary Stones: Shall be provided at the boundary on both sides of Right of
Way as per Clause 9.8 of IRC SP: 84-2014
(i) At Toll Plazas, Rest area, Truck lay bye, Bus bays and shelter as given in this
schedule–C, Interchange, Grade separators including Slip roads, built up
sections, ROB, Major Bridge, and at Grade Junctions at locations given in
schedule –B.
(ii) Solar lighting shall be considered near junctions, interchanges and at toll plaza
locations. Solar Panels also to be established at any other preferred locations
along with Conventional lighting.
Not to be limited to the above specified locations and it shall be finalized in
consultation with Independent Engineer / Project Director, NHAI.
(d) Pedestrian Facilities:
Pedestrian Facilities shall be provided in accordance with the Manual of
Specifications and Standards as referred in Schedule D.
(e) Rest Areas (Wayside Amenities):
Wayside Amenities shall be provided at locations as given below:
Toilet block on each Truck Lay bye shall be provided as per drawing at Annexure II of
Schedule C. These toilets facilities must be constructed with 24 hours functional including

maintenance.
Locations for Bus Bays and Bus shelters are indicated in the table given below. However, the

Four – Laning of the Project shall conform to the Manual of Specifications and Standards for Four –
Laning of Highways through Public Private Partnership published by the IRC (IRC: SP: 84 -2014,
Referred as 4 laning manual) and NHAI circular shall be followed NHAI letter No.11014/11/2016-
HR-I Dated 12-06-2017 (Policy Matter - 10.1.16/2017)
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the aforesaid Manual, the following
