Exchanging of Servo / Spindel module


Copying of Software to the Module

Should an axis or spindle module need to be exchanged, care must be taken to load the valid
software into the module.

Procedure
- Mainswitch off

- Remove defective module

- Install new module

- Turn coding switches on new Servo or Spindle module by 180°

- Pull out left and right Flashrom

- Plug Master Flashrom in left position

- Control on

- A menu is displayed on the monitor

- Adjust servo or spindle module as per instructions

- Control off

- Plug both System Flashroms in again

- Turn coding switches on new Servo or Spindle module by 180° back to normal position

- Control on

- the display of the complete NC-Programme processing time (from cycle start
to end of Programme respectively break with [SHlFT + BREAK), substracting the
stand still time due to internal Feed Hold).

The times are displayed in hours in the globalen variables #500 und #501

Note: All machine parameters,NC programmes and Deckel macros will be lost while
exchanging the CPU.

1. Store machinen parameters of the old CPU via the serial I/0.
!! (Note the interface configuration as these will be lost after formating the memory).
Store all NC programmes and Deckel macros (Prg.9001 ...) via the serial I/0.

2. Mainswitch off

3. Change CPU

4. Flip DIP switches 1 and 3 on the CPU to the right

5. Unplug bus cable from the amplifier (CSH 21 on the CPU)

6. Mainswitch on
The two LED´s on the front of the CPU light up shortly and go off again
After they light up again, the whole RAM section of the CPU including
the Custom RAM and the NC Programme memory on the QX524 is erased
Selected options remain.

7. Main switch off


Flip both the DIP switches back to the left
