TOOL WORKSHOP
The Tool Workshop is located in a working hall, which is a metal construction with insulation and
covers the area of 600 m².
In the Tool Workshop is produced instrumental equipment necessary for the needs of the enterprise and
the external customers.
The tool equipment is different types of dies, benders, (injection) moulds, press (moulds) (for rubber
products). The instruments can be:
- Dies and benders - average sophisticated with dimensions of the surfaces to 700 mm;
- (Injection) moulds and press moulds - sophisticated, with multilateral openings;
The Constructive department in the enterprise make out the constructive documentation of the tool
equipment with Solid Works Programme and provide the machines with Digital Control.
The Tool Workshop is equipped with high-productive specialized machines, such as: erosion
machines, milling machines, drill-boring machines, grinding machines, lathe machines, drill- column
machines, coordinate machines etc. .
The operations that can be done in the Tool Workshop are:
- Milling;
- Fibre erosion;
- Volumetric erosion;
- Lathe;
- Grinding.

FIBRE (WIRE) ELECTRICAL-EROSION MACHINES

In the Tool Workshop there are 2 wire electrical-erosion machines with Digital Control and a built in
CAD / CAM system.
The wire electrical-erosion is a method for cutting electrical conductive materials by using a thin
electrode (wire), which follows a preliminary programmed path. The process of cutting is done at a very
high temperature - 8000 - 12000ºC in the area of cutting and in dielectric environment of deionised
water,which cools and at the same time washes all the metal particles. Therefore this treatment has
ecological characteristics and makes low noise.
Wire electrical-erosion machines have the following distinctive characteristics - the ability to do a large
rear angles, long working movements, high productivity and accuracy of processing.
The Digital Control allows independent simultaneous movement on several axes, process of complex
configurations and provides the necessary angle of the forming slope.This makes the machines
applicable in the production of tool equipment and also in almost all areas of the industrial output.

VOLUMETRIC ELECTRICAL-EROSION MACHINE D 20
In the Tool Workshop there is 1 volumetric electrical-erosion machine D 20.

The Volumetric electrical-erosion machine removes the material through a series of separate
electrical charges (sparks) that are formed in the tube of the machine, between the electrode and the
detail.
The Volumetric electrical-erosion machine cuts pieces of soft and hard metals and some
conductive ceramic products without deformation or other effects on their structure.

DRILL-BORING AND MILLING MACHINE

In the Tool Workshop there is a drill-boring and a milling machine with vertical arbor PB 501.24
equipped with Digital Control.
The PB 501.24 machine is designed to do drill-boring and milling operations.The change of the
instruments can also be done automatically, because the store’s capacity is 24 pcs. of instruments.

In the Tool Workshop there is 1 milling machine M500 with a Digital Control system - FANUC 0i
Mate MB.
The Milling machine M500 is designed to do a large range of boring and drilling operations at high
speed and high precision of details with medium sizes in a single and small-series production.
The axes X, Y and Z are based on the integrated guides, which allows stable and accurate
processing of the details of steel, cast iron, aluminum, plastic etc. .
The Milling machine M500 is equipped with full protection of the work zone.

In the Tool Workshop there are 2 milling machines DECKEL FP 1 with a system for Digital Control.
The Milling machine DECKEL FP 1 is designed to do various milling operations in a single and serial
production.
The Milling machine DECKEL FP 1 is a console machine with two working arbors andis, which is able to
switch quickly from a vertical mode to a horizontal mode of work through a mobile vertical milling head.
The machine can mill planes, front parts, grooves of not big details with various configurations of steel,
cast iron, non-ferrous metals and plastics.

In the Section “Fitter's Trade” , located in the Machine Workshop,there are 3 milling universal machines
251.
The Universal Console Milling Machine 251 is designed to do various milling operations,which are made
of a cylindrical cutter, a disk cutter, an end-milling cutter, a gear cutter, a hob cutter and other types of
milling machines in a single and serial production.
The machine can do different planes, channels, gear-wheels, to bore holes in details of steel, cast iron,
non-ferrous metals and plastics.
The technological possibilities of the machine can be expanded by using a vertical and an universal
milling head, an universal dividing apparatus, an apparatus for cutting of ridges and other accessories and
devices.

In the Tool Workshop there is 1 universal flat-grinding high precision machine with a horizontal spindle
and a rectangular table .
The Flat-grinding high precision machine is designed for grinding of surfaces with the periphery of the
disc. To certain limits (depending on protrude part of the grinding disc from the security case) it is possible to
treat the surfaces, located at an angle of 90º to the mirror of the table.
The potentiality of the machine can be expanded by using different devices .

LATHE CNC MERCURY type NV4B
In the Tool Workshop there is 1 Lathe with Digital Control - FANUC 10.
The Lathes with Digital Control are used for processing of rotary details with complex configuration. It is
mainly designed to process axis and shafts.
The Lathes with Digital Control are controlled by a programme medium that can be changed relatively
quickly,to be suitable for a small batch production and also for a single production.

modular threads.

In the Machine Workshop there are 2 Drill press machines 031.

The Drill press machine 031 is designed for drilling; hole-enlarging; reaming and threading in details,
made of steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals and plastics.
It is possible to expand the technical potentiality of the machine by using different devices.
The Cycle control of the machine has the ability to work at automatic and semi-automatic cycles.

PRESS SECTION
The Press Section, located in the Machine Workshop is a working hall, which is a metal
construction with insulation and covers the area of 1080 m².
In the Press Section there are eccentric presses, pneumatic press, sheet metal bending machine
and a knife guillotine.
In the section are made metal details of sheet material with different size and configuration by using
the tools (dies, benders etc.).The sheet material can be black sheets, galvanized sheet iron, chrome-
nickel sheet metal and brass sheet metal.
The thickness of the sheet material can vary from 0.25 mm to 6 mm.
The press operations, which can be done in the Press Section are:
- cutting out blanks (half-finished material) of sheet material with maximum size 1000x2000 mm;
- punching blanks (half- finished material) and details of sheet material;
- bending;
- calibration;
- pressing.

AUTAMATIC BAND SAW MACHINE KMY 350
In “Machine” workshop there is an automatic band saw machine KMY 350.

An automatic band saw machine KMY 350 has been designed for cutting off different types of half-
finished details from thick material, pipes and profiles.

The Knife Guillotine is a machine for cutting bands off the sheet materials , and in some cases for
making complete details.
The maximum dimensions of the sheet materials, which can be cut are 1000x2000 mm,
and the thickness is 6 mm.

SHEET METAL BENDING MACHINE SOMO
In the Press Section, situated into the Machine Workshop there is 1 bending machine SOMO.
The Bending machine “Somo” is a machine for making varied details of sheet materials, by bending
under different degree, by using different beams for bending
The machine uses Digital Control and can bend details with length up to 4 m.

SHEET METAL BENDING MACHINE TECHNOIMPEX
In The Press Section, located in the Machine Workshop there is 1 bending machine
TECHNOIMPEX.
The Bending machine “TECHNOIMPEX.” is a machine for making varied details of sheet materials,
by bending under different degree, by using different beams for bending

ECCENTRIC PRESS MACHINE PT 10 VR 100 BEUTLER
In the Press Section, located in The Machine Workshop there is 1 Eccentric Press Machine PT 10 VR
100 BEUTLER.
The Eccentric Press Machine PT 10 VR 100 BEUTLER is a machine for cold punching details of sheet
materials by using punch instruments .
The overall dimensions of the details that can be produced depend on the correlation - thickness of
the sheet material and length of the contour of cut.
This type of press machines is constructed to ensure maximum accuracy of the made blanks (half-
finished materials).
The characteristics of the press machines BEUTLER is their maximum simple service.

The Hydraulic Press Machine 250 H is designed to do different press operations, which require smooth

In the Machine Workshop there is 1 Laser Cutting Machine Lasering 500 with Digital Control.
The Laser cutting machine is used for big size details for small series of small details, of sheet metal
material with maximum thickness of a sheet is 5 mm.
The sheet materials can only be of ferrous metals or plastic

MACHINE WORKSHOP
SECTION “PAINTING”
The Section “Painting”, located int the Machine Workshop, is a working hall, which is a massive
construction and covers the area of 600 m²
The Section "Painting" is equiped for powder and wet painting, which includes:
- Chamber for electrostatic painting;
- Fire Kiln;
- Chain painting conveyor.
The electrostatic method of painting, which is used by the enterprise, is a method TRIBO.
It guarantees 80μm coating of the whole surface,the edges of the half-finished products and the finished
products.
The half-finished products and the finished products can be metal and plastic.

POWDER PAINTING CHAMBER
In the Section “Painting” there is a chamber and a paint-spray gun for electrostatic painting by
using method TRIBO.
The overall dimensions of the half-finished products and the finished products, which can be
painted in the chamber, are 850x1100 mm.
The half-finished products and the finished products can be metal and plastic.

FIRE KILN AND CHAIN PAINTING CONVEYOR
In the Section “Painting”

there is a fire kiln for baking
half-finished products and
finished products.
The fire kiln bakes the details,
which pass through it at a
temperature from 180º to
200ºC.
The power of the kiln is 60 kW.
In the Section “Painting”

there is a chain conveyor
system,which provides

MACHINE WORKSHOP
SECTION WELDING
The Section “Welding”, located in the Machine Workshop, is a working hal,l which is massive a
construction and covers area of 300 m².
In the Section “Welding” there are argon welding automatic devices ( FILCORD 25 and
POWERTEC 300 C) and a welding transformer T 500 C.
The Welding is used for a connection of homogenous metals and alloys, as well as metals and
alloys with a different material.The best welded metals are of low-carbon steels, low-alloyed steels
with low content of carbon and nickel steels. The Welding of middle and high-carbonated, as well as
the high-alloyed steels and non-ferrous metals is connected with many difficulties.
Half-finished products or finished products of sheet materials, pipes and profile material are made by
welding.

ARGON WELDING AUTOMATIC DEVICE
In the Section “Welding”,located in the Machine Workshop, there are 2 argon welding automatic
devices (FILCORD 25 and POWERTEC 300 C)
The half-finished products and finished products are made of sheet materials, pipes and profile
materials by welding .

WORKSHOP “CABLE ACCESSORIES”
SECTION “INJECTION MOULDING”
The section “Injection Moulding ,located in the ”Workshop “Cable Accessories”, is a working
hall, which is a metal construction with insulation and covers the area of 500 m².
In section “Injection Moulding” is made injection of different kinds of plastics of half-finished
products and in some cases of finished products .
Section “Injection Moulding” is equipped with different working volume injection machines.

INJECTION MACHINE “ARBURG” 221-75-350
In the section “Injection Moulding”, located in the Workshop “Cable Accessories” there are 2 pieces of
Injection machines “ARBURG” 221-75-350.
The Injection machine “ARBURG” is a machine for injecting details, made of different kinds of
plastics, elastomers, PVC, duroplasts under pressure by using an injection method .
The Injection machine “ARBURG” can also do two-coloured injection.
The Injection machine “ARBURG” can work at an automatic, semi-automatic and manual mode. The
control at automatic and semi-automatic mode is performed by “Polytronika”.
