A legend states that there was a time after a brief golden age, the first Fá diviner named Alaundje
was told to go and warn the people of ancient Zè (Of course this is long before Danxome by almost
close to 2000 years) of oncoming corruption and degradation. What follows is the warning.
However, this warning is also a good chant to say when you see those close to you headed in a
disastrous direction. He speaks of slowly planting seeds of lowliness among the people that will
be hard to remove over time. If using only portions of this sacred chapter, it is wise to say the
verses in sets of 7. 38
Xótá 88 - Fyɔn
Alaundje's disciple Djísa (in a reincarnation about 600 years ago) is sent with a similar message as
that of Alaundje's of prophetic value to Ayizo people of Ze. He warned of great tribulations. This
message was primarily to the leadership. It also lays great emphasis on the women raising the
children right in the face of corruption. We can use this sacred verse as a constant chant for
communal and national improvement. It is even good to have 3 people doing this chant taking
intervals at every 10th verse. 35
