MasterProtect® 180
Description
MasterProtect 180 is a protective high build epoxy resin coating specifically developed to protect concrete.
Supplied as a two-component system comprising pigmented base and a hardener, it requires only on site
mixing to produce an easily applied decorative and chemically resistant finish. MasterProtect 180 can be
safely used in areas where contact with foodstuffs is envisaged or for coating potable water storage tanks. It
is solvent free and can be used with safety in small rooms or tanks without the need to provide special
ventilation. MasterProtect 180 coatings will not support the growth of bacteria.

Where indicated on the contract documents the non-toxic solvent free high build, protective epoxy resin
coating shall be MasterProtect 180 manufactured by BASF Construction Chemicals UAE LLC.

The product shall meet or exceed the following performance criteria:

Standards
Meets the requirement of BS 6920 Part 3 for suitability to potable water @ 25°C

The product shall be manufactured by a company certified to confirm to the requirements of the
quality, environmental and occupational health & safety standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and
OHSAS 18001
