How To Add A New Product To Oracle Applications (Doc ID 135807.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.
GOAL
The purpose of this note is to explain how to add a new product to an existing
installation of Oracle Applications.
SOLUTION
1) Add the new product in License Manager
1. Oracle Applications Manager > Site Map > License Manager (under System Configuration section) >
Products
2. Expand "Show more options"
3. Select "License Applications Product" + click on "continue".
License Manager will display a list of products.The currently installed products are checked.
4. To add a new product, you must select it in the list by checking it and then click on the next button; and
then submit your changes.
This will update the STATUS column in the FND_PRODUCT_INSTALLATIONS table for the given product.

2) Apply the latest product minipack.

3) If needed, perform productspecific implementation steps
There may be productspecific implementation steps that you will need to
perform before using the new product.
