Veeam ProPartner Program
The Veeam ProPartner Program is designed to help you create new opportunities to grow your

resources that will drive both license and service business, create new opportunities, increase
profitability and help you close deals faster.
This comprehensive Veeam ProPartner Program provides your company with the tools necessary to
become a trusted advisor to customers and gain a long-term competitive advantage in the
virtualization space.
Each Veeam Reseller ProPartner level has certain requirements for amount of certified professionals
on staff. To learn more about Veeam ProPartner Program and certification requirements learn the

Accreditation Requirements
To earn the Veeam® Sales Professional (VMSP) or Veeam Technical Professional (VMTSP)
accreditation, partners must pass the certification test. The VMSP test includes 20 questions and
must be completed in 25 minutes. The VMTSP test includes 35 questions and must be completed in
40 minutes. Partners may choose to take the test prior to completing any modules.
In addition, partners have the option to take the upgrade course for version 9 if they already have the
VMSP or VMTSP version 8 certification. This upgrade course is followed by a shorter version of the
certification test, with only 15 questions for the VMSP and 25 questions for the VMTSP accreditations.
Certification will be granted if a score of 80% or higher is achieved. Partners may attempt to take the
test twice. If they do not pass the test on the second try they will have to wait for 24 hours to try
again. It is also recommended to retake course modules to gain the necessary knowledge.
To receive the VMSP and VMTSP 1 accreditation, you will be required to:

Working with Veeam University

Completing a certification
If you feel you are already familiar with Veeam products, you can skip the modules and use the Test
Out option. To proceed directly to a test, skip Step 6 from the steps below 2.
To complete a course, take the following steps:

The first time you sign on to Veeam University, you will notice you have been enrolled in the
Veeam Sales Professional (VMSP) and Veeam Technical Sales Professional (VMTSP) accreditation
paths. If you wish to enroll in additional courses, or if you do not see the VMSP/VMTSP courses listed
when you sign on, you will need to complete the following steps:

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What browser should I use for the best performance?
A: Internet Explorer 11 or later, Google Chrome 17 or later and Safari 5.1 or later all provide an
optimal modern HTML5 experience. Veeam University courses might work for other platforms, but
will use a reduced Adobe Flash format version that could have possible limitations.

Q: How do I become a Veeam Certified Sales/Technical Sales Professional?

A: You need to pass the certification test with an 80% or higher score. Each certification test is
included in the courses and may be taken without viewing the learning modules. Note: Viewing the
modules is strongly recommended, regardless of your familiarity with the product.

Q: How soon I can re-take the test if I don’t pass it?

A: In general, you can take as many attempts to pass the certification test as you need. However, we
will postpone the certification test for 24 hours after two unsuccessful tries so you can view the
course modules again if you want.

Q: How do I enroll in a course?

A: In the Menu, open the Courses Catalog section, find the course you want, hover your mouse over
that course and click on the Subscribe button.

Q: The course I'm looking for isn't listed in my assignments. Where can I find it?
A: If you’ve already enrolled in the course, you can find it in the Menu under the My Courses section.
If you have not yet enrolled, you can do so by clicking the course in the Menu and opening the
Courses Catalog section.

Q: How do I navigate through the slides?

A: To navigate through the module slides, use the embedded forward and back buttons at the
bottom of the course window. You may also use the Table of Contents by clicking the icon at
the bottom of the course window.

Q: How do I receive my certificate of completion?

A: Once you have passed the certification test, the certificate will be available:
• Click the Download widget under the Lessons list, which will download a PDF-version. It

Q: Why do I need to respond to a Learner Experience Survey?

A: We’re constantly improving the learning experience and your feedback is crucial for us to provide
the best-in-industry eLearning content. By filling out this survey, you can share what worked and
what did not work for you, and also provide personal feedback on specific course areas you feel need
to be improved or explained better.

Q: Can I change my login information or update my profile at ProPartner Portal?

A: You can change login information and update your profile on the ProPartner Portal by clicking the
edit profile link located in the top right corner of the screen.

Q: I need Veeam University technical support. Who should I contact?

A: Send an email to the Veeam University Support Team at university.support@veeam.com, or use the
Contact Us button on the Veeam University introductory page (http://learn.veeam.com).

Q: I have changed partner companies since becoming accredited through Veeam University. Can my
accreditation be transferred?
A: Yes. To transfer you accreditation, please contact your Veeam Channel Manager. No additional
actions are required.
