Anticipatory Set :Nearpod Activities ISPY

Objective/Purpose: By the end of this lesson students will be able to distinguish

the key details in a text by participating in nearpod.
Input Students will need to know how to read and write. The nearpod
presentation will tell the students what to do as I give them guided directions.

Model: The students will demonstrate their knowledge of key details by looking
at a picture story and telling me in the next slide who, what, where, when, how,
and why.

Guided Practice : To guide the learning of key details in a text we will do a group
activity using the story The Three Little Pigs.

Check for Understanding: I will have multiple chances in the nearpod for the
students to visually see who, what, why, where, when, and how to help them get
this concept in their memory.

Closure : At the end of the lesson there will be a multiple choice quiz for the
students to take.

Independent Practice: Students will be assigned a picture book and at the end of
the reading they will be able to identify the key details of the text in a worksheet.
