Be sure to use a soft worsted weight yarn for these dolls. I
personally like the feel of Red Heart Soft and Caron Simply

be hard to work with. I had no problem mixing brands.

DOLL CONSTRUCTION
STEP 1: Attach body to head using the tail left on the body. It is best to line up the body with R20 of the
head as they have the same amount of stitches (12).

STEP 2: To attach arms, flatten seams and attach to the top of the body, approximately 1” apart.

HAIR
Cut Black yarn into strands that are 18-20” long (9-10” when folded in half). Using the latch hook
method, start by defining a middle part, and defining the hairline to frame her face.

Once you have defined those areas, fill in the hair going side to side on each row, in about every other
stitch, until you are happy with the fullness of her hair. Make sure to look down at the top of her head
and fill in any bald patches that are visible. Trim her hair to one even length!
