Leave Policy

Purpose:
SC Technologies Global Pvt. Ltd (SCT)/Beathas/Softoo recognizes and respects employees’
needs for leave time away from work. We strive to create and maintain a balanced work
schedule for its employees and promotes quality of life through its varying leave programs.
All employees full-time and part-time, and who hold permanent positions are eligible to
receive leave. Contractual employees are not eligible to receive annual time with pay from
organization however they are eligible for 10 casual leaves per year and for sick leaves as
per defined policy by CHQ HR. We provide eligible employees with varying types of leave.
Scope:
This policy applies to all permanent and contractual employees.
Policy:
In accordance with the Government of Pakistan regulations and federal laws, we provide
leave time to eligible permanent employees as identified below. Leave accountability is the
responsibility of the employee and the line manager.
1. HOLIDAYS
a. The Company’s holiday year runs from 1 January to 31 December.
b. You are entitled to 14 days’ holiday per annum plus other public holidays in Pakistan.
c. You must give at least four weeks’ notice of proposed holiday days and these must then be
approved by the line manager and further by manager HR. The Company/line manager/ HR
manager reserves the right to refuse any holiday request and to nominate days which must
be taken as part of your holiday entitlement.
d. Untaken Holiday Entitlement in any holiday year may not be carried forward to any following
holiday year and such Holiday Entitlement will be forfeited without any right to payment in
lieu.
e. If You have taken more holiday than your pro rata holiday entitlement You will be required
to repay (including by way of deduction from any monies which would otherwise be payable
to You) to the Company any salary received in respect of the excess.
f. Leave/present/absent record will be monitored by the HR department and will be updated
to all employee on monthly and quarterly basis so they can manage their leaves / presents /
absents accordingly.

2. SICKNESS ABSENCE
a. If you are absent from work because of sickness or injury you must notify your immediate
line manager before 09:00 AM on the first morning of absence, and if absent for more than

one day, keep your immediate line manager regularly informed of the expected duration of
your absence.
b. Complete and return to the Company a self-certification form in respect of the first
[seven] days (including weekends) of any sickness absence.
c. Provide the Company with a medical certificate from your GP or other registered medical
practitioner for periods of sickness absence in excess of seven days (including weekends) or
more and with medical certificates for each subsequent week of sickness absence.
d. If requested by the Company undergo a medical examination at the expense of the Company
with a medical practitioner nominated by the Company.
e. If requested by the Company give written permission to the Company to have access to any
medical or health report in its complete form prepared by any health professional on your
physical or mental condition.
f. Company sick pay will not be paid if you fail to follow the notification requirements set out in
clause 3 (c).
3. How to apply?
a. In order to apply any kind of leave the employee has to fill the following link to fill the
application form, and later has to intimate HR and line manager about leave application
through email.

b. Line manager has to right to accept or reject the leave application.
