ASM Steel highly recommends the use of RV for its excellent ventilation.

Crane Systems
Our supply includes Runway Beams, Columns Brackets and Crane stops for the top
running cranes listed below. Our supply does not include the Crane System and Crane
Rails. In the absence of actual crane data (that should be provided to ASM Steel by the
buyer or specifier), ASM Engineering department will design the crane runway beams and
the frames supporting them on the basis of crane loading data provided by ASM Steel.

Section 4: Supplied Items:


The following are normally supplied unless mentioned otherwise:

Section 5. Steel Work Finish


 All primary members shall be sand blasted.
 All primary members (columns and rafters) will be painted with 40 microns of Red oxide paint

Section 6. Supply Delivery Period:


1. Our current Delivery Period (Ex-Works at factory) is to start 8-12 weeks from the latest date
of receipt and acceptance of the following in our head office.
 Signed Contract. (Any change must be noted and initialed by both parties).
 Down payment
 Signed final "approved as noted" or “approved as is” Approval Drawings
 Final change order

2. The Delivery Period is considered to start on the date of first delivery of the materials to the
carrier.
3. Please allow minimum of 02 weeks for Approval Drawings submittal, 05 weeks if buildings
are complex.
4. Customer is required to return Approval Drawings to ASM Steel office within 02 weeks
from the dated of receipt. Any delay in the return of the Approval Drawings back to ASM
Steel office may result in a change to our delivery commitment and contract price.

Section 7. Proposal Validity:

1. This proposal is valid for 07 days from the above noted date. Any extension of validity by
ASM Steel must be in writing.
2. If the job (project) is not “Released for Production” within 30 days from the date of entering
this order at ASM Steel head office, it will be subject to delivery change and price change
in accordance with the prevailing delivery schedules and prices at the end of the above
noted period

“Released for Production” means that the Approval Drawings has been returned by the
buyer “Approved as Noted” or “Approved as Is”, the agreed upon payment terms, as per
Section 10, have been fulfilled by the buyer and the job has been released for final
engineering production and fabrication at ASM Steel.
3. The portion of this order that is not shipped within Two months from the date of entering
this order at ASM Steel head office will be subject to a price change in accordance with the
prevailing prices posted at the above noted time period.

Section 8. Changes/ Revisions:


Any change and/ or revision to the above stated scope of supply may lead to a variation in the
price and the delivery period. A change must not hold payment for work completed in the original
contract.

Section 9. Payment Terms:


Mode of payment will be as under:

Advance upon confirmation of Order 60 %

Before Material Supply 40%

Total 100%

Note:
 Down payment shall be made within 7 days of signing the contract.

Section 10: Force Majeure:

The completion period mentioned for supply and erection is subject to the enforcement of force
majeure i.e. Act of God, War, Military operation, Flood and disease etc. or any other things
beyond human control.

Section11. Assumptions, Exclusions, Exceptions and Deviations:

1. Any scope not specially mentioned is excluded from this contract.


2. Civil works are not included in our scope (foundation/anchor bolt setting).
3. No allowance has been made to design, detail, coordinate, manage or build any
architectural features or art works other than what is shown on ASM steel’s offer or ASM
Steel’s proposal drawings.
4. No allowance has been made to coordinate or manage the design of MEP (Mechanical,
Electrical and Plumbing) services nor have we allowed for the support of MEP equipment
unless specifically mentioned in our offer.

5. Our price does not include doors/windows not specifically mentioned in the offer.
6. Any additional inspection or Special Testing is excluded. Charges will be applied to
customer if any additional or special testing is requested.
7. Third Party inspection is excluded. The Cost for any Third Party inspection is to be totally
borne by Customer.
8. We have based our offer on present day market prices of materials. Any variation in the
market prices will be applicable to this offer.
9. Any change in government laws that effect the our prices shall change the price
accordingly.

Section 12: Price

Section 13: Terms & Conditions for Erection:

1. The Erection cost is based on our tentative working. A Separate contract will be added for
Erection favoring ASM Steel Buildings after a detailed to visit the site.

2. Adequate supply of water and power will be given to us at construction site free of any cost
from the very beginning.
3. Sufficient space for accommodation of our staff & labor will be provided to us at site any
free of any cost.
4. The erection site shall be clear in all respects for the cranes to operate and space is
available to place steel members where required. Site clearance shall be the responsibility
of customer.
5. The erection site shall have enough space for off-loading and de-stuffing containers once
they arrive on site.
6. Space for storage of material will be provided near the work area and covered store for
small parts, insulation and T&P will also be provided nearby.
7. The Erection price does not include the cost of anchor bolt setting.
8. Payment Terms of Erection:

Mode of payment will be as under:

Advance – before Erection. 30 %


50% main frames have been erected. 20 %
100 % main frames have been erected. 20 %
After the Installation of purlins and Girts 20 %
After Completion of Erection. 10 %

9. The erection time shall start from the day the material will arrive on site and the site is clear
for erection works as well as RCC columns and pedestals (where our column or rafter base
plate shall be placed) are properly poured with the anchor bolts and well cured.

1. ASM Steel’s Proposal No. Q076.17, Rev. 00 Dated _____________ with agreed and
initiated amendments (if any).
