A set of 16 task cards that are easily used with Google Forms. Students must determine the
appropriate set for types of numbers on eight task cards. On the other eight task cards

Student have to figure out what the answer is from the number line worksheet

SPED/ESL:the teacher will provide them help during the assignment by having them sit right
next to her/him
Tech alternative/unavailable:the teacher will pull it up on the board and everyone will do it as a
class

Activity:Adding and Subtracting Integers Musical Mix-Up


Students wear "Hello my name is..." name tags with integers on the name tag. This is their new
identity. Students will dance around the room until the music stops. When the music stops
students will pair up and introduce themselves to their new friend. Together students will either
add or subtract depending on what the teacher calls, and then students will draw models to
represent the addition or subtraction. The teacher calls up a group to display their model and
solution!

SPED/ESL:the teacher will assist them with cutting and writing if needed

assignment individuals during that class time
Activity:Adding and Subtracting Integers Coloring Activity
After adding or subtracting, the student chooses the correct answer from four possibilities and
then uses their answer to color a tessellation design.
Level of bloom:level 1 coloring activity where you have to identify what the answer is
