Feedback combo performance

The combo played okay, nice vibe. They got along well together.

Jose Cervera Minguez played well. He’s also very motivated to learn en to develop
himself as a jazz player. Taking his classical background into account, he particularly
made a lot of progress. Also he and Giullio Ottanelli played well together.

Alessio Calore is sometimes a bit uncertain about his playing but played a solid
performance. He’s a good reliable player but needs to be more confident about his own
playing.

Almo Martin Viana was a heavy metal drummer but is getting his jazz playing more and
more together. His solo’s have to get a bit more in time. He starts well but ends them
shaky.

Federica Lorusso made a lot of progress, her comping was good.

Sergio Rizza plays nice swinging lines, good timing and a good technic.

Overall happy with the performance, good energy.



Feedback process:

No problem at all. Everybody was present during the combo lessons except when there
was a Big Band project. The students are motivated to learn en to improve.
