    In 2007, we brought in the concept of Impact Protection Gloves to India. In 2014, we brought in a host of products that allowed companies to work on a hands-off and hands-free policy to manage suspended loads. Project Sales Corp works with leading companies worldwide in bringing in products that mitigates hazards found in industrial workplaces with special focus on the drilling sector. The brands we bring are the ones that have set a benchmark somewhere in the globe in adding value to the organizations positively and creating a difference in enhancing safety in workplaces. We have now chosen to focus on another critical area in the Oil and Gas Industry – Dropped Objects Prevention or DROPS as it is known in the industry. Drop is any object that falls from its previous static position under its own weight. Dropped Objects are among the Top 10 causes of Fatality and Serious Injury in the Oil and Gas Industry. Our focus would be on products and systems that can be integrated into the customer’s safety management systems to identify potential dropped object hazards, prevent their occurrence, and mitigate their outcome. We would share information on a broad array of tools, products and deliverables, including inspection programmes, awareness videos and presentations, safety checklists, guidelines, procedures and best practices as a part of building up awareness on DROPS and also offer our customers to buy these special dropped object prevention products and services from one source. As we approach 2018, we will build up on industry knowledge, work closely with the DROPS group and identify and bring in all products that have a scope to mitigate risks associated with dropped objects prevention. These would include special tools for working in height from Stopdrop Tooling; retrofitting existing tools and equipments with the Ergodyne Tool Tethers and NLG tether points; securing and tethering systems for preventing drops of fixtures at height from Dropsafe; a complete range of fall protection products from DBI Sala; avoid slips, trips and fall with anti-slip treads and nosings; polymer barriers designed to prevent items such as tools, water bottles, hard hats, etc. falling through open guard railing, stairways and elevated work platforms; and a lot more to prevent both static and dynamic dropped objects with your inputs as we start receiving your feedback. Ms.Shivani Patnaik would be leading this initiative on identifying products, systems and procedures that would unfold this DROPS program at PSC. We have had extensive discussions with companies working in this field both at A+A in Dusseldorf in Oct 2017 and ADIPEC held in Abu Dhabi in Nov 2017. We have over a dozen progressive customers buying several products from us including tool lanyard, drop safety fixture mesh and tethered tools. We will be investing close to $200K into this program over the next few years in terms of investing into product stocking, building up an inventory, participating in DROPS seminars, product sampling, concept awareness and more to be able to service customers across India and MENA regions.
