Red Panda Amigurumi Pattern

by adorably kawaii

I hope you enjoy this pattern. Look over the pattern carefully before starting.

Materials: Tools:
• E/3.5mm hook
• Worsted weight yarn in red, white,
• Yarn needle
and black. (I used Red Heart Super
Savers)
• Pair of 15mm safety eyes
• Stuffing

Size:
Approximately 6.5”(16.5cm) tall and 4.5”(11cm) wide. The tail is about 5.5”(14cm) long
and 2”(5cm) at its widest. Results will vary depending on your tension and your yarn &
hook choice.

1
Abbreviations :
Ch–- chain Sl st - Slip stitch
Sc - Single crochet St(s) -–Stitch(es)
2 sc - 2 single crochet increase R# - Round/Row #
Sc2tog - 2 single crochet decrease Rep - Repeat
Sc3tog - 3 single crochet decrease

Magic Ring:

A few inches from the end of the yarn, wrap two loops over your finger. While the loops
still on your finger, insert the hook from right to left into the loops and pull the working
yarn through.

Carefully take the loops off your fingers and chain one. This doesn't count as the first
stitch.

2
Insert the hook into the two loops again and pull up a loop. Yarn over and draw through
both loops. This counts as the first single crochet stitch. Continue for the rest of the
stitches. Then pull the yarn tail to close the hole.

Color Changes :

When you get to the last stitch in the current color, insert hook into the next
stitch, yarn over, and draw up a loop.

Yarn over with the new color and draw through both loops on the hook.

R2: 2 sc in each st around. (12 sts) Cut 10”/25cm of black yarn to stitch
on the nose:

Stitch from the middle of the ring going upward. Make the nose about .5”/
1cm wide.

6
Then bring the needle back to the front in the middle of the ring again and stitch
back into the ring, making a loop to go around the nose.

Hold the loop around the nose and bring the needle to the top of the nose right
under the loop.

Then stitch back into the top over the loop to keep the loop in place.

Start at the bottom of the nose and stitch on the mouth.

7
Sew the snout onto the head.
