Youth Ministry
We are knee deep in
preparations to take the 36
member missions team to Enga
province in late March! Thirty
students ranging from grade 10
to grade 12 will be flown to two
different locations. The trip will
consist of worship and drama
ministries, interior and exterior
construction projects and
helping in a hospital and school
setting. Please be praying for
funding and preparations over
the coming weeks. We are
anxious to share exciting news
and pictures with you in April.

Teen Centre God speaks to the Menya!

Directly following the mission
trip Sara will begin working with
her Teen Centre staff on the
annual Everything Sale (a large
scale yard sale). In addition to
this huge task, the Teen Centre
staff is in a place of massive
transition. Sara is working via
email with an individual who
may be able to assume her
responsibilities during our
furlough. Please be praying for
clear communication as well as
training for the new rising teen
employees during this very busy
time of the school year.
On February 23 after 42 faithful years of service, Pat and Carl
Whitehead celebrated the completed New Testament translation
in the Menya language. Hundreds of Papua New Guineans from
the Menya language group danced, sang and worshipped God
alongside Carl and Pat, their adult children who returned from
Canada, their large national translation team and many others
from our organization. In addition to the written Word, the New
Testament was made available in audio format and for digital
download onto smart phones.
We pray this news will cause you all to be amazed at how God
orchestrates the lives of us all to accomplish His will. What a
fantastic encouragement and challenge received from the Menya
people and the Whiteheads to pursue God no matter what the
timeline may be.
Please join us in praying for the lives and hearts of the Menya
people to be utterly transformed by the Word of God in their
language! May He be alone be glorified.
