Praxis Core Analysis

Exam Requirements

In Nevada in order to become a teacher I must pass Praxis Core Academic skill for

Educators Exam before I am accepted into a bachelors level school like Nevada State College.

Praxis passing scores in reading must be 156 or higher, 162 for writing, and 150 for math.

Exam Preparation

In order to prepare I went back to my notes of past classes and studied most of those also

looked at past quizzes. I did also read through the links that Professor provided but I did not pay

for any of the practice test.

Exam Results

In my math practice exam I scored in the 52% range, which mean I need improvement by

the time I take m y official Praxis Core Exam. In the reading section of the practice exam I

scored a range of 27% which means I need substantial improvements. In my writing practice

exam section I scored a range of 50 % which means I need improvement.

Future Exam Preparation

 I have not passed the official Praxis Core exam and this practice test helped understand

what I need help with and how much I still need to study. I was not well prepared so, next time I

will buy the practice provide and seek outside help as well. I do want to look into the study book

and work with a tutor to help me in this very important exam. I did see the areas where I need the

most help in and what I found most difficult.
