Objective
Friendly, hard working college student with proven organization and communication skills seeking to

Experience
Starbucks Corporation, Rancho Mission Viejo, CA 92694 April 27, 2017 - Present
Barista. Duties include: providing excellent customer service and handcrafting quality Starbucks drinks in a
timely order. Cross-trained to be a well-rounded “partner” at all tasks and roles (i.e. Customer/ Order/ Bar
Support, Bar Barista, Ringer) necessary to running the store’s café and drive thru as efficiently as possible.

Seasonal Retail Sales Associate. Responsibilities included being knowledgeable about the products sold in
my assigned department, providing customer service and to able to handle money and computers/
registers.
Received Employee of the Month in recognition of my hard work and improvements made to the
department I was assigned with creative solutions to problems and for helping out other coworkers
in their departments when necessary
Education
California State University, Fullerton August 2015 - Present
Currently a third year student and enrolled as a Liberal Studies major for Elementary School Teaching.
Maintains a 3.5 GPA. Nominated for the Golden Key International Honour Society. Nominated to become
a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Received Dean’s Honor Roll in Fall 2015, Spring
2016.
o Received Marching Band Directors Award for my involvement in improving and growing
the Color Guard team as well as showing my perservering desire to be the best I could be
o Co-President & Events Planner/ Public Relations of the Yoga & Pilates Club: led yoga
practices during lunches, planned events like Build-a-Gram: Valentine’s Day Edition and
what to sell during our school’s food fairs, and volunteered at a non-profit. Volunteered at
Be the Change yoga studio to teach young kids to make healthier choices and be more
active through yoga practices.
Skills
Experienced with young children, ranging from newborn to 11 years old. I am a fast learner and can
adapt to new environments fairly well due to my flexibility. I work well with others and have a friendly, fun,
and approachable personality that kids love. Great communication skills. Follows instructions and
procedures to ensure that everyone is comfortable and safe in their environment. I have the ability to be
sympathetic and empathetic to others when I observe that the individual feels troubled.
