PROJECT DETAILS

Hospital Blood Bank Project, Blood4life (Mar 09 – Nov 09)

I contributed to a project called “Blood4life”.

The project was aimed at building an application for the blood bank of a
hospital, which helps the staff to maintain the details of the blood donors as
well as the available blood in the bank.
The person wishes to donate blood can register himself as a donor. The details
of the donors can be filled in the form available on the application.
Technologies Used: JSP, Oracle 9i
Responsibilities: --
 Worked for development and testing phase.
 Regular analysis of the program.
 Acted as a point of contact for DB queries, this included acquiring the
functional knowledge of the program and then coming up with the
database interactions.

ACADEMIC PROJECTS

 Project 1 Title: Library Management System.

 Tools used: Forms 9i, Oracle 9i.
 Description:
The goal of this project is to maintain the transactions, which are
carried out in a library while Issuing, Returning, Adding and
removing a book and with details of students having them.
By this one can check that no particular student can take more
than 3 books and a student can apply waiting on a book, which is
currently issued to some other student so that after the completion
of the issued period the second student can take that book.

 Project 2 Title: Remotely control RTC-Interfaced Micro controller used

for Multiple Device Control.
 Tools Used: Micro controller, Assembly level Programming, Electronic
Circuits.
 Description: The goal of this Project is to control several devices
through a remote control system in precise timings. The devices are
automatically turned ON & OFF on a scheduled time.
