3.3 Eamest money in any other form of D.D. or cheque will not be accepted.
3.4 The atnount of eamest money will be forfeited, in case surcess:fi contractor does not pay the amount
ofinitial security deposit, within the time specified as stipulated by the Executive Engineer apd complete
the contract docurnent. In all other cascq, eanest qolrey will be pfundable.
3 . 5 The successful tenderer shall have to pay, halfttre security Deposit in cash or in the form ofapproved
security form and the balance is recoverable through running account bill at the percentage qtipulated in
theagreement. I

3.6 In the event offailure ofthe tenderer to pay cash security deposit within l0 days (unless extended i1
writing by the the Ex. Engineer) from the date ofreceipt ofnotice (Sent by Registered Post) ofacceptance
ofhis tender, the amormt ofeamest money shall by forfeited to Govt. and the acceptance ofhis tender;
shall be considered as withdrawn. Except that in the event of the notice ofacceptance ofhis tendernot
being issued within 120 days ofthe date dfopening oftenders, the tenderer shall have the c]ption (to be
intirnated in good time before the expiry of 120 days period ) ofwithdrawing his tender, inl which case
the eamest money should be refunded in full. All the tenders shall be kept open for 120 ddys frbm the
date ofthe tenders.

3 '7 Eamest money ofthe rmsuccessfl tenderers will be refinded on their application only, after an intimation
ofrej ection oftheir tender is sent to them or on the expiry ofthe validity period whicheverl is earlier.
3 . 8 The accqrtance ofthe tender may be intimated to the conractor telegraphically or otherwiqe and either
by the oficer, Zilla Parishad Pune and such intimation shall be deemed to be an intimation ofacceptance
ofthe tender, given by the authority competent to accept the tender.

tenderers or their authorised representatiyes only after the part ofthe.tender
has been scrutinished and the conditions got clarified ifnecessary.

design, when so permitted will be considered for opening, only when the auttrority

8. The confactor will have to sign the original copy ofthe tender papers and the drawings according io

has quoted his rates with due consideration to all these factbrs.
9. The right is reserved to revise or amend the contract documents, prior to the date noticed for the
receipt of tenders or extended date. Such deviations,amendments or extensions, of any, shall be
communicated i4 the form of corrigendum by letter or / and by notice in Newspapers as may be
considered suitable.

10. The tenderer shall in the letter, forwarding the tender, state any points he may wish to make in addition
to all points prescribed to be stated under the specifications and conditions ofthis contact. Zilla parishad
reserves the right to reject any tender, iftho same becomes a conditional tender therebv.

Clause 2 : The time allowed for carrying out the work as entered in the tender shall Compensation fpr delay

Clause 3 : In any cases in which under any clause of this mntract conracbr
shall have tendered himselfliable to pay compensation amou: whole of
his security deposit whether paid one sum or deducted by ir or in the

contractor to complete, in which case all expenses incurred to at

GS 21 Providing Fixing RS J and Other Structural Steel Works.

21.1 This item covers fixing MS/RS girders. MS angles, channels, flats, base plates,
bracket, etc. and other accessories as per requirement and as directed and fabricating
cutting, drilling holes, etc. and errecting and fixing at site with necessary iivetted c
fixtures with nuts and bolts etc. wherever necessary, together wittr their proper fixing
masonary or slabs ofconcrete as directed. Structural steel works materials shall be bythe
Contractor from open market at his cost. The item includes three coats ofoil Daint of directed
to all sffuctural work.

21.2 All above operalions including cost ofmaterials and lobour there of, are included in tire tenderitem.
The meassurement and payment shall be on the weisit basis in the r.rnit as mentioned irl Schedule 'B'.

murum that is available and suitable from excavatecl stuffshall be used by Contractor, free ofcost.

22.2 The murum filling or beddings is to be done in 15 to 20 cm thick layers, walered and duly consolid4ted
by hand rammers as directed.
