For all Students asking about changes in the syllabus. ICAP has issued an exam guidance on 09th
January 2018 which can be seen at ICAP Facebook page even. Link of the same is attached.
Further a few rules have been revised by SECP and we have to study new ones now as they are
applicable. Following are major changes in this regard.
1. Investment in associated companies’ regulations have been revised in 2017. so get the new ones and
study.
2. Substantial acquisition regulations have been revised in 2017 so study the new ones.
3. Code of Corporate Governance has been revised so study the new one.

The CA Women Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan is celebrating
Women’s day 2018 in line with its international theme #PressforProgress to encourage and
support female members, affiliates, trainee students and employees of the Institute.

CA Women Achievement Awards will be presented to outstanding female chartered

accountants. All members are requested to nominate female chartered accountants by
February18, 2018 who in their opinion have made a significant mark in their professional

• Life time achievement award (01 award): Female CAs who have served in the profession by
being member of the Institute for at least 25 years.
• CA Woman of the year (01 award): Female qualified CAs with less than 25 years’ experience
• Aspiring CA student of the year (01 award): Female CA students who are pursuing CA
qualification

The nominated candidates will then go through a transparent process of award selection by an
