ABSTRACT

In the present work, we will have the possibility to investigate, in a preliminary way,
by means of some questions with more respect to the topics of the course to
understand and internalize in a better way the basic concepts of the same in order
to develop the activities in the present period.

This first exercise allows us to get a basic idea of the topics to be dealt with in the
present course and of the importance in our professional future, since the adequate
management of the technology in a company determines, in a large part of the
cases, its capacity to survive the changes posed by the market without losing
participation or profitability significantly.

Technological assessment is a key mechanism in the decision-making process,

which covers both the financial and technical components, as well as the strategic
management of technology. The technology valuation seeks to determine the
maximum economic benefit through the use of information in an efficient manner
and with a series of reasonable methods, that is, allowing a buyer or seller to benefit
through the full use of all available information.
