contracts

Sandvik offers performance contracts on its equipment, enabling customers to focus

on production and their core business. Sandvik currently manages many performance
contracts in various locations around the world, achieving cost effectiveness and
reliability for our customers. Together with the customer, if required, Sandvik will
establish cost guarantees based on most suitable key performance indicators, such as
availability, maintainability (Mean Time To Repair, MTTR), and reliability (Mean Time
Between Failure, MTBF).

The supplier accepts responsibility for operating costs beyond the costs of capital
(initial purchase price), e. g. also for repairs, maintenance, upgrades, service and
support, user training, software licensing, expenses.

Engineered solutions
Manganese - crushing chambers
The essential wear parts of a Sandvik cone crusher consist
of the manganese mantle and concave which forms the
crushing chamber. Sandvik offers a wide selection of crushing
chambers for processing all types of materials and for various
applications.
We have the expertise, technology and resources to design,
develop and manufacture high-quality crushing chambers.
Using our understanding of the complete processes
surrounding a crusher we customize optimized solutions for

Drilling tools
Sandvik offers the world’s widest range of tools and
accessories for rock drilling, including exploration and

Screening media
Sandvik’s screening media are high quality products designed
and manufactured to satisfy our customers’ greatest

Wear protection
Sandvik also provides a wide range of wear resistant
ceramic, rubber and polyurethane products. Regardless if it‘s
sheeting or wear plates our products meet the highest quality
standards and offer advantages such as long wear life, lower
operating and maintenance cost, reduced noise levels and
better working environment.

Cast-in-carbide wear protection
Cast-in carbide - HX900 is a unique wear material
combining the wear resistance of cemented carbide with the
shock resistance, ductility and forming capability of nodular
iron. This is an ideal combination resulting in a hard material
that stands well in tough environments.
Conveyor components and dust control
Sandvik’s complete conveyor offering includes components as
original components or as replacements in existing systems,
with an emphasis on performance and reliability, for light,
medium and heavy-duty applications.
We’re developing new and innovative solutions to improve
the work environment. Our dust encapsulation and
suppression products help reducing dust emissions to a
minimum. The work environment is greatly improved, the
life of equipment extended and the maintenance and clean-up
cost dramatically reduced.
Belt winders
Belt winders are critical pieces of equipment for the
controlled installation of conveyor belting onto a conveyor
system. Sandvik has developed a range of standard belt
winders that have been fully engineered and certified to meet
occupational health and safety regulations.
Fire suppression
Supply, installation and servicing of pre-engineered foam fire
suppression systems for all types and sizes of mobile plant,
equipment or vehicles, including a range of hand held fire
extinguishers help keep your equipment and operators safe.
Mineral ground tools (MGT)
Sandvik‘s tips are successfully used on feeder breakers or
surface miners, and in other surface mining applications like
road planing.
Insert carbide tips are ideal for use in hard, high-impact
conditions. Cap carbide tips provide excellent penetration,
and are best suited for use in medium to hard and abrasive
conditions.
Ground engaging tools (GET)
Ground engaging tools are utilized to protect buckets,
thereby improving their performance. Sandvik offers leading
technology with the world‘s best performing GET system.
The patented Shark Blue Pointer® Series 2 continuous
edge lip system offers significant operational cost savings
resistance to wear and is easy to maintain. This is achieved by
adapting a total bucket solution that includes cast corners, -
and mechanical protector strips.
