REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: NEW ESTATE BAPTIST CHURCH SOUND

INSULATION PROJECT

Your proposal on the above subject refers.

We are pleased to inform you that your Company is one of the Organizations shortlisted
for the proposed project.

This Request For Information (RFI) aims to guide the next stage of our evaluation and
you are required to provide additional information about the proposal you earlier
submitted to us. The additional information required will be guided by the following sets
of parameters and criteria.

A. Components of Proposed Acoustics Infrastructure

Our understanding based on your earlier submission is that a number of key

components determine the design, modeling, quality and eventual outcome of
any sound insulation installation work. These components include;

1. Ceiling Structure
2. Wall Structure
3. Window Type and Material
4. Floor Material

While this may not necessarily be an exhaustive list of components, you are required to
please provide additional information on how your Company intends to design and carry
out the installation of the acoustics and sound improvement project of the Church,
based on the above listed parameters.
In your response, you are expected to;

i. Provide a detail acoustics design that you would adopt for the proposed
project, taking into consideration the specific components listed above, and
based on your understanding of the structural design and physical orientation
of the Church Auditorium.

ii. Show in the design, the types/forms of acoustics materials that will be
configured and installed in/on each of the listed component areas of the
Auditorium, to deliver the most appropriate sound improvement outcome.

iii. Provide information/data on the total coverage area and dimensions of the
Auditorium (including ceiling, wall, window and floor) that the acoustics
materials will cover.

iv. Describe clearly the type, quality and quantity of material(s) which you would
use for the installation.

v. Describe the method(s) and or, equipment/tool you would adopt for
determining and measuring sound attenuation level(s) before and after the
installation.

vi. Provide detail information on the cost of the project, using the format below as
guide;

Deadline for Submission

You are expected to submit your proposal to the Secretariat of the Church on or
before 5.00pm on Friday March 18, 2016.

The proposal which should be in a sealed envelope should be addressed to;

Our target is to conclude evaluation on the proposed project and be in a position

to commence installation works on or by the close of this month. To this end
