Job Title: Lecturer Reporting to: HOD (Civil)

Cadre: Faculty (CS) Technology: Civil

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY

1. Teach and prepare students of the first year in the civil technology.
2. Provide learning opportunities for every student in each class taught, relative to
student needs, abilities and stages of development.
3. Participate in the wider educational, collegiate and cultural life of the college in co-
curricular activities and college programs.
4. Report to head of the department/Principal and parents on the progress and
development of students.
5. Prepare teaching programs/lessons, develop and manage resources and carry out
regular assessments and evaluation of student’s work.
6. Assist the Head of Department (Civil) to implement programs that are consistent with
college policies and requirements.
7. Assist to set up sound educational learning environment and provide teaching
resources that will facilitate learning.
8. Assist establish classroom procedures and behavior expectations that will allow the
students to function in a purposeful manner.
9. Assist HOD (Civil) complete written plans that are based on students’ needs that must
show the direct link between curriculum achievements objectives learning sequences,
outcomes, methods of assessment and general programe evaluation.
10. Provide inputs to operationalize the institutes in effective and efficient manner.
11. Any other special assignment given by the HOD/Principal.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Age Below 35 years

Education Minimum BE & BSc civil engineering from reputed HEC recognized
University. Preference shall be given to higher degree holders with 1
year’s relaxation in experience.
Experience Fresh graduate. Preference shall be given to those who possess two
years field exposure of building designs.
Skills Proven skills in the field of building designs.
Proven working skills of ICT, Interpersonal skills, Having sound
knowledge of latest techniques of building designs.
