1. INTRODUCTION

“Comparison of files in two different folders “ Add-on is used to compare the files in two different folders.

1.1. Purpose of this Document

This document describes the implementation of Add-on “Comparison of files in two different folders “by
virtusa. The procedures defined here comply with execution of batch script.

2. ADD –ON SETUP PROCEDURES

2.1. Requirements

The below requirement are needed to run the Add-on “Comparison of files in two different folders “

 VPN Connection
 Share folder in Remote server
 Command Prompt

3. DESIGN

The script is designed in a manner that it copies data from remote server to the local desktop then compare
the files of two servers. It performs the operations according to the choice of
User.
1. If choice is 1 it copy the files from remote server
2. If choice is 2 it starts to compare the scripts and results are stored in
3. Choice is 3 it exit from the batch itself

In this script we are able to compare the files in the local desktop not in the remote desktop.

6. CONCLUSION

This script automates the process of file comparison. So, it save the time of the user and helps to find out the
difference between script and batches which resides in the directory
