PROCEDURE FOR DOUBLE HEAD CUTTING


MACHINE OPERATION

 ENSURE POWER SUPPLY, LUBRICATION & PRESSURE BEFORE


START OF WORK

 ENSURE PPE. .
 ENSURE WHETHER CUTTING PLAN & RELEVANT DRAWING
AVAILABLE.
 CHOOSE THE MATERIAL AS PER CUTTING SCHEDULE PRIORITY.
 ALIGN THE MACHINE HEAD AND PLACE THE JOB ON THE BED IN
THE RIGHT POSITION AND CLAMP IT.
 FIRST CUT AND REMOVE PORTION OF THE ALUMINIUM SECTION
EDGE TO MAINTAIN 90 DEGREE.
 RELEASE THE CLAMP, THEN CHANGE THE CUTTING EDGE OF THE
JOB AND SET THE STOPPER FOR CORRECT LENGTH AS PER
DRAWING.
 PERFORM CUTTING.
 RELEASE THE CLAMP AND CHECK THE LENGTH AND DEGREE.
 FOLLOW THE ABOVE STEPS FOR FURTHUR PRODUCTION.
 PROPERLY CLEAN THE SCRAPMATERIAL AT REGULAR INTERVAL.
 PLACE THE MATERIAL IN THE MACHINE WHICH IS ONLY MEANT
FOR CUTTING.
 PROPERLY PLACE THE MATERIAL IN THE TROLLEY AND PERFORM
TAGGING.
 PROPERLY TURN OFF THE MACHINE WHEN CUTTING IS DONE

MACHINE OPERATION

 ENSURE POWER SUPPLY, LUBRICATION & PRESSURE BEFORE


START OF WORK.

 ENSURE PPE.
 ENSURE WHETHER CUTTING PLAN & RELEVANT DRAWING
AVAILABLE.
 CHOOSE THE MATERIAL AS PER CUTTING SCHEDULE PRIORITY
 PLACE THE JOB PROPERLY IN THE RIGHT POSITION AND CLAMP IT.
 FIRST CUT AND REMOVE PORTION OF THE ALUMINIUM SECTION
EDGE TO PRELIMINARYLY CHECK THE DEGREE.
 PERFORM CUTTING.
 RELEASE THE CLAMP, THEN CHANGE THE CUTTING EDGE OF THE
JOB AND THEN SET THE CORRECT LENGTH AND DEGREE
 FOLLOW THE ABOVE STEPS FOR FURTHUR PRODUCTION.
 PROPERLY CLEAN THE SCRAPMATERIAL AT REGULAR INTERVAL.
 PLACE THE MATERIAL IN THE MACHINE WHICH IS ONLY MEANT
FOR CUTTING.
 PROPERLY PLACE THE MATERIAL IN THE TROLLEY AND PERFORM
TAGGING.

OPERATION
 ENSURE POWER SUPPLY, LUBRICATION & PRESSURE BEFORE
START OF WORK.

 ENSURE PPE.
 RECEIVE THE MATERIAL FROM CUTTING AND ENSURE WITH THE
PRODUCTION TAG.
 ENSURE WHETHER NOTCHING DETAILS & RELEVANT DRAWING
AVAILABLE.
 CHOOSE THE MATERIAL AS PER NOTCHING SCHEDULE PRIORITY
 PERFORM NOTCHING.
 RELEASE THE CLAMP, THEN CHANGE THE CUTTING EDGE OF THE
JOB AND THEN SET THE CORRECT LENGTH AND DEGREE.
 FOLLOW THE ABOVE STEPS FOR FURTHUR PRODUCTION.
 PROPERLY CLEAN THE SCRAPMATERIAL AT REGULAR INTERVAL.
 PLACE THE MATERIAL IN THE MACHINE WHICH IS ONLY MEANT
FOR NOTCHING.
 PROPERLY PLACE THE MATERIAL IN THE TROLLEY AS PER THE
TAG.
 PROPERLY TURN OFF THE MACHINE WHEN NOTCHING IS DONE.

PRODUCTION TAG
 ENSURE WHETHER SLOTTING DETAILS & RELEVANT DRAWING
AVAILABLE.
 CHOOSE THE MATERIAL AS PER SLOTTING SCHEDULE PRIORITY
 PERFORM SLOTTING.
 RELEASE THE CLAMP, THEN CHANGE THE CUTTING EDGE OF THE
JOB AND THEN SET THE CORRECT LENGTH AND DEGREE.
 FOLLOW THE ABOVE STEPS FOR FURTHUR PRODUCTION.
 PROPERLY CLEAN THE SCRAPMATERIAL AT REGULAR INTERVAL.
 PLACE THE MATERIAL IN THE MACHINE WHICH IS ONLY MEANT
FOR SLOTTING.
 PROPERLY THE MATERIAL IN THE TROLLEY AS PER TAG.

GROOVING MACHINE OPERATION
 ENSURE POWER SUPPLY, LUBRICATION & PRESSURE BEFORE
START OF WORK.

 ENSURE PPE.
 ENSURE WHETHER CUTTING OR GROOVING BLADE BEFORE
OPERATION.
 ENSURE WHETHER CUTTING PLAN & RELEVANT DRAWING
AVAILABLE.
 CHOOSE THE ACP AS PER OPTIMIZATION CHART.
 ALIGN THE MACHINE HEAD AND PLACE THE ACP ON THE BED IN
THE RIGHT POSITION AND CLAMP IT.
 FIRST CUT AND REMOVE PORTION TO CHECK THE LENGTH.
 RELEASE THE CLAMP, THEN CHANGE THE CUTTING EDGE OF THE
JOB AND SET THE HEAD FOR CORRECT LENGTH AS PER DRAWING.
 PERFORM ACP CUTTING.
 RELEASE THE CLAMP AND CHECK THE LENGTH
 CHANGE THE GROOVING BLADE WHEN CUTTING IS DONE.
 PERFORM GROOVING OPERATION AS PER DRAWING.
 FOLLOW THE ABOVE STEPS FOR FURTHUR PRODUCTION.
 PROPERLY CLEAN THE SCRAPMATERIAL AT REGULAR INTERVAL.
 PLACE THE ACP IN THE MACHINE WHICH IS ONLY MEANT FOR
CUTTING.

OPERATION
 ENSURE POWER SUPPLY, LUBRICATION & PRESSURE BEFORE
START OF WORK.

 ENSURE PPE.
 FEED THE RESPECTIVE CNC PROGRAM AS PER DRAWING.
 ENSURE WHETHER CUTTING PLAN & RELEVANT DRAWING
AVAILABLE.
 CHOOSE THE MATERIAL AS PER CUTTING SCHEDULE PRIORITY.
 PLACE THE JOB ON THE CNC BED IN THE RIGHT POSITION AND
CLAMP IT.
 PERFORM DRILLING OPERATION.
 RELEASE THE CLAMP, THEN CHANGE THE CUTTING EDGE OF THE
JOB AND SET THE CORRECT HOLES DIMENSIONS AS PER DRAWING.
 RELEASE THE CLAMP AND CHECK THE DIMENSIONS.
 FOLLOW THE ABOVE STEPS FOR FURTHUR PRODUCTION.
 PROPERLY CLEAN THE SCRAPMATERIAL AT REGULAR INTERVAL.
 PLACE THE MATERIAL IN THE MACHINE WHICH IS ONLY MEANT
FOR DRILLING OPERATION.
 PROPERLY PLACE THE MATERIAL IN THE TROLLEY AS PER
DRAWING.
 PROPERLY TURN OFF THE MACHINE WHEN CUTTING IS DONE

 PROPERLY SHUT DOWN THE MACHINE WHEN CUTTING IS DONE

PROCEDURE FOR ASSEMBLY OPERATION

 Ensure fabricate plan & relevant cutting list available.


 shift necessary prescribed sections from machining
center using trolley
 keep fabrication stand in position
 Place the male & female in position
 Insert necessary gasket into the mullion , head transom
& sill transom
 Apply weather sealant in the transom edges
 Joint all transom into the male and female mullion
 Check width , height and diagonal of the fabricated
panel
 Adjust the diagonal incase if different from acceptable
limit
 Apply weather sealant , seal all screw heads and any
other

PROCEDURE FOR GLAZING CENTER


OPERATION

 Ensure glazing plan and relevant cutting list available


 Keep ready all panels on the glazing trolley
 Keep ready necessary glass in the glass pallet
 Clean the panel using warm water , xylene & prime
whichever in applicable
 Fix the suitable double sided tape in position
 Clean the glass and apply warm water, IPA solution
whichever applicable
 Place the glass over the panel manually or using electrical
glass catcher
 Align the glass and place the setting block in position
 Made around glazing location masking tape and protect from
excess sealant

 Contact Butterfly test to conform uniform mixing

 Contact Snap Test to conform curing time

 Contact Elastomeric test(If Warranted)

 Apply structural sealant using sealant pump


 Tool off excess sealant
 Leave the panel for curing 8hrs
 Record Sealant log book

Structural Sealant Post Inspection


 Contact Deglazing inspection as per manufacturers
recommendations-
3 Panels for 100 panel Production
1 panel for every 100 panel
Take a call with Dow corning to witness deglazing inspection
 Contact Deglazing inspection along with Dow corning
personnel

 Dow corning personnel signoff the sealant log book


 Dow corning issue deglazing report
