Spray Nozzles for Evaporative Cooling
Spray nozzles atomize the liquid stream by high velocity compressed air to create
a range of 20 to 200 micron-size spray droplets. Droplet size and production is
not dependent on liquid pressure. The ultra-fine droplet-sized sprays accelerate
air-liquid interaction to facilitate effective cooling, and the smaller droplets
expose more surface area to increase the evaporation rate. Three types of spray
nozzles are offered: fogging, atomizing and humidifying. The fogging nozzle
produces a directed spray with droplet sizes of 20 to 60 microns, a flow rate
of 0 to 30 gal/hr and liquid viscosities up to 1100 cPs. The atomizing nozzle
produces a directed spray of 60 to 200 microns, a flow rate of 0 to 30 gal/hr with
liquid viscosity up to 1100 cPs. The humidifying nozzle produces a wide spray
with droplet sizes of 20 to 200 microns, a flow rate of 0 to 15 gal/hr, and liquid
viscosity up to 100 cPs.

Cooling Tower Gearbox Repair
Repair and rebuild services can refit cooling tower fan drives,
including those from Amarillo Cooling Tower as well as
the Marley Geareducer. Factory-trained technicians repair
the gearboxes and put each one through a run-in procedure
to simulate operating capacity. The rebuilt units include a
one-year warranty. As an alternative, the company offers
multiple kits per Geareducer model that include the necessary
components to repair a Marley Geareducer, including gears,
bearings, seals and oil.

Dripless Atomizing Spray Nozzle
Spray nozzle with hollow-circular pattern atomizes fluid and sprays away from the
nozzle in all directions. Suited for applications such as cooling, humidification or
dust suppression, the nozzles provide a smooth, even coating on the inside diameter
of a pipe or similar ductwork. They provide liquid flows from 1.6 to 14.7 gal/hr with
liquids up to 300 cP. The no-drip valve assembly stops liquid flow when air pressure
is shut off. The stainless steel nozzles, in 0.125, 0.25 and 0.5” NPT, can be used with
water, light oils, chemicals, rust inhibitors, paints and dyes.

range; 0.5- to 40-ton chilling capacity (depending on model); and air- or water-cooled
condensing. The portable chillers include a scroll compressor; brazed-plate evaporator;
microprocessor-based controller; electrical enclosure with safety door disconnect
switch; stainless steel centrifugal supply pump; insulated nonferrous plumbing and
components; and heavy-duty insulated plastic tank with sight glass. Models ASL and
WSL portable chillers have the same features but provide a lower temperature range of 5

Ball Valve Labels Improve Safety, Efficiency
Customizable labels for the company’s 5 Series ball
valves can identify function, media, flow direction,
hazards or other instructions. Users can tailor labels with
their own images and text or use the preprinted labels
with common flow-arrow or hazard symbols available
online. Labels are chemical, weather and UV resistant.
The labeling kits can include transparent valve handle
