There is a strong scientific evidence backing mindfulness as an effective

tool to support well-being. It affects the brain patterns underlying day to day
anxiety, stress and irritability. It’s about seeing our thoughts as events – a bit
like clouds in the sky- and observing them with a friendly curiosity as they drift
by.
Creating a mindful and non-stressful setting starts with the teachers. Not
only do we have to manage the pressures of personalized learning, lesson-
planning, teaching to the standards, grading and more, but we also have lives
IV. Rationale outside of work. Students can feel when you are stressed, which cause them to
stress. If the teacher is in control and models the behavior of managing stress
regardless of what’s thrown in front of them, students will pick-up on these
strategies and it will have a trickle-down effect.

The “Seminar-workshop: “Make Change Work for Gender Equality”” is

a proactive approach to raise awareness amongst school personnel about their
chosen craft. To work wholeheartedly and be a role-model in teaching the
young learners more than just teaching the subject-matter but most
importantly inculcating to them the values they possess. This can contribute to
positive behavior change and building a stress-free working environment.
