Maritime and Logistics Forum: getting it right for the customer
How can the industry work together to optimize the performance of the entire supply chain?
The Global Shippers’ Forum (GSF) is the world’s leading trade association for shippers engaged in international trade moving goods
by all modes of transport. The GSF was created in 2006 as the successor to the informal Tripartite Shippers’ Group (TSG), first
organised in 1994. The GSF represents shippers’ interests and that of their respective organisations from Asia, Europe, North and
South America and Africa. The main focus of the GSF is to influence commercial developments in the international freight transport
industry and the policy decisions of governments and international organisations as they affect shippers and receivers of freight.
This Maritime and Logistics Forum will provide the ideal platform for the exchange of ideas between shippers, shipping lines and
freight forwarders. It will provide an opportunity for the industry to discuss ideas of how to work collaboratively to build relationships
throughout the intermodal supply chain and how to set up mechanisms to get things right for the customer.
